Amazing. The server and service was phenomenal. Back shortly!

Lovely clean patio - except for a pidgeon that kept walking under our table

It was a terrible experience: prior to dinner, I tried to call them twice, and each time was asked to have a quick hold. The hold was more than 5 minutes, so not a quick hold. The second time I requested a call back and of course I never got a call back. At the dinner, we were first introduced to a table where all the staff were passing by with garbages. After the request of changing table, we were having a very unstable table. They tried to fix a few times however it was still very unstable. The food is very disappointing. 10oz tendeloin for 92 Canadian dollars, we were expecting good quality however it was not good at all. There were small flies around and of course one dropped in my glass of wine... O

Great all round

Great terrace & beautiful cuisine. Excellent service.

I love this restaurant and I get that it’s expensive. I don’t mind paying top dollar for good quality food and service but having said that $18 for a bowl of chicken soup and $20 for a small plate of mushrooms is rediculous. I’ve had way better soup for half that price. I’m fine with paying nearly $500 for lunch for 2 adults and 2 kids but some of the items just make you feel like you’re being taken advantage of and they should at least include some bread or have reasonable prices for sides, soups, or apps.

Had a chance to dine at ONE over two consecutive days. Once, late night for a bite and some drinks and the second visit was for lunch with two other guests. The food is quite delicious and well prepared and presented. The Yorkville location oozes a sophiticated charm with the perfect summer weather making outside dining optimal. The pricing is on par with other restaurant and bars in the neighbourhood. The wait staff were courteous, creative and helpful. My only complaint is the consistent experience of the front of house staff steering us toward some of the worst avaibable seating on both occasions. First we were directed inside inspite of a terrace request. Then after insisting, we were seated at a table crammed against the wall with a speaker blasting music at us, meanwhile there were many tables ringing the much better streetside perimeter. One other diner who though the situation was ridiculous offered us their table as they were about to leave, we had to decline their graciousness as we were to be a party of three. With a bit more insistence our greeter finally accomodated our perimeter table request but only after a request to escalate the matter to the manager. We ate our meal afterwards with great enjoyment. The location and food and drink options are all top notch however management should perhaps spend a bit of focus on training their front of house staff in improved hospitality practices. It should not take three requests and poorly though out and explained excuses to get a decent table with a reservation. We dine globally frequently and few places have resulted in such a frustrating experience to be seated at a table of choice in a widely available dining area. ONE is definitely worth the time to stop for food or drinks but they would have received an improved rating had our seating not been so difficult to obtain on two consecutive days.

Great spaces but curtains could maybe be open on a summers day as a bit dim for a bright summer day

For the prices charged a few of the dishes felt on the skimpy side - like the Branzino comes with nothing on the side and the cheese plate had 3 pieces of cheese smaller than the size of a loonie - for sharing between 2 people.

Scheduled meeting with a long-time friend. Staff was terrific - very helpful and pleasant to deal with. Arrive on-time table was ready - sound level was quiet and conversation was easy between both parties. Food was prepared very well - plate presentation was above average - great breakfast for both of us. Location was easier to get to than some other restaurants in mid-Toronto area.
