I was an old customer from the late eighties and early nineties.. my crew and all our friends went there almost every day in the summer for three years. We spent a lot of money there.I went a few times in the Covid times but I never saw the owner until last week when I went with my friend who was going there for the last few years. The owner said some negative things about me that weren’t justified. Regardless.. we had just finished 4 emergency calls and wanted to relax in a place I had super fond memories of. The owner is the same person for over thirty years. I haven’t seen him since 1993. His disdain towards me was thinly veiled and I was absolutely polite to him and he pretended not to remember anything about the past. He turned to my co-worker friend and accused him of drinking before entering his bar.. and he promptly refused service.. his anger towards me was barely disguised and the mere fact he did it in this fashion was disrespectful at the highest degree. To the owner… I never did anything bad to you or your staff. I only brought business to you. We spent tens of thousands of dollars every year. It was our home. Thank you for being a horrible person. I am saddened by the way you treated my friend. He had nothing to do with why you disliked me. A real man doesn’t act like that. When you wonder why you don’t make enough money.. maybe then you will realize your childish behavior doesn’t work in the business world. After reading a few other reviews it’s apparent that you don’t belong in the service industry. “An angry bald Asian “ which is ironic because I’m a bald Asian..

food was good, service was alright. Seemed a little weird, we got apps very close to the meals and and entrees came out 5 mins between each other. But it was nice.

The Chinese food was solidly okay, something about my dish tasted off though. I couldn’t quite place it.

Jay is a nice host. Local bar with regulars. Always a good time hanging out here.

I just picked up some food to go; the best Asia/Chinese food I've had in a long time, I've eaten at a lot of places nearby. This is by far the best. Not greasy, very fresh, meats are all good cuts (not just fatty chewy as I have had at other places) Had the Singapore noodles, beef Szechuan (my favourites) and a couple other dishes. Had a drink while I waited, amazing and attentive staff! Will definitely return!

Best karaoke bar in Toronto. Great chinese food too!

I've been coming here for years off and on whether it be with a friend, my wife and now my wife and child. Jay has always been a really attentive and pleasant host. His house made sauces can knock your socks off. Great wings and karaoke if you're game. I come from up town and it's worth it. Haven't had a discouraging time there yet!Hoping pandemic restrictions ease in time so that hard working establishments like this can "Rock" and roll again.
