The rice balls make for a good snack. Spicy Miso was quite big. It tasted decent & had enough pork

MUST TRY. The woman working inside is very friendly and the food came out hot!! We got the Salmon Wasabi and the Miso Pork (my favorite) and it was $3.50 for each. There's tables out front so you can enjoy your meal while listening to the awesome music she has playing!

Wouldn’t mind going again to try different things on the menu due to all the high ratings. I ordered 3 different types of rice balls.Definitely not as good as I expected though. It’s a bit better than rice balls at TNT Supermarket

SO good. My faves are the spicy pork miso and the garlic shiitake rice balls. I dream of these. SO SO SO GOOD.

I recently tried the spicy pork miso and bamboo shoot riceballs. I only got one of each, but after trying them I wish I got more. They were both good, but the bamboo shoot one was absolutely delicious. I hope I can order more before there's a new special of the month! And I would love to try their soup too.The service was great and friendly as well!

We were suppose to be checking out a cafe in the west end, but we end up strolling along Dundas West, and came across Omusubi Bar Suzume. It is a small local food stall on the street along with 10+ other food stalls. I was very excited to try the Japanese rice balls. The lady owner, Rie, was very nice and friendly. Everything was fresh and made to order. I read online about her journey of opening this pop-up food stall; definitely give this lady some support if you are ever in the west end of TorontoWe ordered 3 rice balls to try, we had the salmon wasabi, ume shiso (it is sour/salty like traditional ones, FYI) and the omusubi of the month: corn miso butter! The ingredients are simple, tasty and filling. I like that the rice is seasoned. Some places don't season their rice, and it drives me insane! The packaging is very unique, you have to follow the steps to open it... don't screw it up LOL! Basically the seaweed is separated from the rice ball, you just need to assemble it by following the instructions lol.We also ordered the chicken and egg don, which was also very tasty. The barley drink was a nice change as opposed to matcha or hojicha. The aftertaste reminds me of coffee actually, but less the caffeine.

Cozy (and healthy) Japanese soups and onigiri and dons. I highly recommend a visit. Sort of food that warms the soul on a wintery day.

These riceballs have become my comfort food ever since I discovered them. The woman working here makes each riceball with care. When eating them you feel as if you are at the comfort of your house with a lot of family around.

I enjoy coming here for lunch or a quick snack in the afternoon. Rice balls and soups are reliably great. The preorder bento boxes are so delicious and meticulously made. The chef/owner responds to customers’ questions and instructions (e.g., dietary restrictions) on social media/ordering site.

What a great stop! Loved the garlic shitake mushroom rice ball.
