Arrived, stepped in the door and was just standing there. I had to ask the server if I could sit down - they seemed to be too busy fiddling about to deal with a customer. During the whole episode I got a strange vibe from the server. Sat down, had my meal which was ok. I'm disabled, and took a moment to extricate myself from the smallish booths. The server *cracked a joke* about how it's *hard to get up*. I calmly explained that I had medical issues and was disabled. Frankly, I'm shocked this server, who seemed not altogether present nor empathetic, would insult a disabled patron about their mobility. I'm NEVER going back. I'll be surprised if this place lasts the year.
Breakfast was…. Okay. I ordered blueberry buttermilk pancakes (3), a side of sausage links (4), and coffee with cream for pickup. My total was $22.36.Cons: my bottom pancake was burnt ?; had to go back in to request the butter and syrup for the pancakes; sausages were dripping in grease; no cream pots for coffeePros: Jennifer’s service was friendly and responsive, she even stepped out in the rain to hold open the door for me (thank you, Jennifer ?); real old school diner feel, coffee tasted fresh and good. All in all it was okay!
I love Okay Okay!! I’ve been here now twice with 2 different people and had a great time. I look forward to bringing my parents next! It’s a perfect diner vibe with really yummy food, great prices, and I am of course partial to some Challah ? which I was so excited to see on the menu. Their fries are PERFECT and you really can’t go wrong here! Super friendly and welcoming atmosphere and great service!
Quintessential Canadian diner with decent service; the food good was fairly average though. Had the French toast (not very good), and a cheese omelette which was fresh. Good bottomless coffee though.
Can't beat those fresh cut fries! Everything is freshly made. Been to the dinner several times and am always pleasently surprised. Quick and friendly service. Highly recommend
Wasn't impressed with the toast and one packet of jam that I got or the out of the box hash browns. Luckily we were hungry and also ordered the grilled veggie sandwich. I would definitely go back for the sandwich but not for breakfast.
I couldn't believe my luck, I had No problem getting a Place to Sit! There were Plenty of Seats, to choose from! The Steak & Eggs Breakfast, that I had was very Good! The Coffee is also Good! Just all Round Good Comfort Food!
My three friends and I wanted to find somewhere to eat but none of us could decide on breakfast or lunch. Luckily enough we found Ok Ok diner, which had both options to easily satisfy all of us, even with dietary restrictions. Our server was very kind and let us know that it’s a family-run place, which is just the kind we like to support. Will definitely be back (especially for the best fries I’ve had in awhile). Thanks!
I thoroughly enjoy this diner! Service is awesome, and the food is always delicious! I've been going here for 5 yrs, and I always leave feeling sated, having a great meal and wanting to return! ?
Breakfast, was standard tasting nothing special. At $9 for 3 eggs and your choice of Sausage, bacon or ham and hash brown you can’t go wrong.Speed of service was great. However; receiving or waters took long then expected 5+ mins. The name says it all “okay”
