Excellent food. Just like home meals. Had Sadya with fish curry and mathi fry. One Mango lassi as well. Everything was Excellent. Customer service was great as well. Highly recommend (especially if you miss home)
There is not enough staff to provide service to customers. Last week went to this restaurant for dinner and ordered partotta.”, beef fry, kallapam fish pollichathu and plain dosa. Except parrota and appam other dishes are utter waste. We were waiting for 1.5 hours to get our dishes on the table. Beef fry, dosa and fish pollichathu were poor in quality and taste.I won’t go to this restaurant anymore and I don’t know how they did get this much of rating in google.
Authentic Kerala cuisine and very delicious food. We went there last night for at around 12.15am and we still got fresh and nicely made chicken curry, fish curry and porotha. Perfect portion of all the food. The lady at the counter Anjali was pleasant to talk too and she took care of everything right from ordering to clearing things off. Kerala porotha is a must try, it was soft crispy and not oily. We will definitely be coming back soom?
The food was so good. One of the best kerala restaurants. The price is fair and have enough quantity. And the best part is it opens till 1 am. The service was excellent even though They had a rush and the 2 people successfully maintained it. As a fan of Tea/coffee it would be perfect if they could include it.
Great service, food is great, could get a little too crowded during the peak times so watch out.
It’s hard to find a restaurant that’s open so late and it’s harder to find authentic food from Kerala. This place is great for both. I always enjoy the casual environment and friendliness of the servers. My favourites would be their dosa and the Kerala paratha with any of their curries. Finish that up with a lassi!
Ridiculous pricing for an additional serving of Sambhar as part of the Sadhya meal. Who pays $3.99 just for a serving!! It was almost closing time when I went and the least that could be done was to have given one serving complimentary or at a reduced rate rather than making money off of it or even throwing it at the end of the day.Everything else was good other than the miscommunication from the waiter about the additional serving of sambhar.
Chris, the waiter, has been one of the kindest people I have ever met. His dedication to his service is truly remarkably. I have never seen such service at restaurants that charge even triple the price. Chris continued to smile, while he was running around the whole place ensuring all the customers needs were met. He managed 4x tables while also handling takeout customers. Truly an amazing experience receiving such great service especially from a locally owned restaurant!
We were actual pretty excited to try out this place so we ordered and picked up different dishes (almost 10 of them). But it was utterly disappointing. None of them were actually worth except the kalappam which was quite good. Rest of them especially the chicken dishes all had a stale taste. We got crab as well and that was clearly well beyond its shelf life and we had to throw the whole thing away.
Great customer service. The girls at the counter were very helpful and customer friendly. Their Porotta was good compared to any other restaurant we had from greater Toronto area. We also ordered chilli chicken and another chicken curry. The chilli chicken gravy was very similar to what we had from Kerala ( the pieces were not fresh enough though). Overall, it’s a good Kerala restaurant to visit.
