Food is not authentic Indonesian or and service was not great

Great food, lovely staff, but kitchen isn't accustomed to big crowds , so food was slow in coming. Worth the wait; just be prepared.

Clearly an overwhelmed restaurant. Out of several items. Appetizers and meals brought one at a time with 10-15 minute intervals. Food portions small and poorly presented. Quite a disappointment

My family and I went for the summerlicious menu. We got there and ordered our drinks first while we looked over the menu. When we were ready to order, our server just then told us that they dont have any of the desserts in the summerlicious menu available which is obviously part of the experience/package. I wish we would’ve been informed earlier on as it would have impacted us staying since at this point we had already ordered our drinks. What they offered in place was also already part of the appetizer menu so it was hardly a substitute. It was just a very underwhelming experience and the service was subpar.

The restaurant took my reservation and was closed when I arrived, the was a sign that said be back by 2pm and it was 4:30.

AVOID THIS RESTAURANT. The owner hung up on me multiple times and would not let me cancel reservation despite more than a day in advance. Even threatened to call the police on me. I’ve used opentable hundreds of times in the past and this is the WORST service I’ve ever received.

Service was prompt. Food was slow though. However, I was forewarned ahead of time which was good.Ordered the Rica Rica Wings and the Laksa Noodles. I would recommend skipping the wings - these are severely underseasoned. I don’t personally like food to be heavy on salt or flavours, and I still found it to be flavourless. The aroma of the spices can be smelt on the chicken skin, so the lack of flavour is likely due to the wings not having been marinating in the sauce for long, or if the sauce was only brushed onto the wings while grilling - either way, this means none of this flavour has had the opportunity to infiltrate into the skin/meat. I did ask for salt, but still found myself unable to finish the wings. For 15.99, I expect more than wings that taste boiled. The Laksa Noodles were decent. Came with a lot of tofu/shrimp, some chicken, but no boiled egg as advertised on the menu AND also typically served traditionally. Flavours of the noodle sauce were good. Shrimp were overboiled - leaving them chewy and unmistakenly with the flavour of having been frozen for a long time. Otherwise, there was a decent amount of protein in this noodle bowl.I would recommend trying other items on the menu that the chef might be better at…I was secretly hoping this restaurant would be the one that could fill my Indonesian food cravings, disappointed that it wasn’t better.

Was super excited to try this spot, but sadly we were underwhelmed with our experience. We ordered nasi goreng rendang, nasi goreng jakarta, laksa, and the sate lilit. The Nasi Goreng Rendang and Nasi Goreng Jakarta (fried rice) was very salty and comes with barely any chicken pieces in it.On the other hand, the Laksa was quite bland and just tasted straight like a coconut milk with no other spices in it.The Sate Lilit was very salty and very little portion for its price ($8.99).The food service was quite slow, but the server was okay. The food was not hot when it arrives at our table (it was barely even warm). For its price, we were expecting more “meat” within the fried rice.Hopefully this can be improved by the restaurant :)

So great to have another Indonesian dine-in option in the King West area. Got the Nusa Dua cocktail, Nusa Duning (rice) and Mie Goreng (noodles). Fav was the rice dish. A lot of different flavours and textures. Not sure if this was the Thursday special but all cocktails were $9.99.Staff was polite and helpful. Super friendly and kept checking up to make sure we were good. This restaurant is tucked into a quiet spot on Bathurst so doesn't get as busy as the main street, which is nice. They have a cute and spacious patio too, and TVs up indoors to watch games.

Dined-in on the patio—tables are small high tops which make it difficult to order multiple dishes. Service was super slow, from dropping off menu to water, she was overly flustered the whole time. We ended up waiting 40 mins for food to arrive, and was told at the 40 minute mark that their machine had broken down and didn’t get punched in. The food was nothing to write home about and small in portion size for $18/dish. The nasi goreng Jakarta had 2 pieces of shredded chicken in it and a sad fried egg on top.Unfortunately the laksa didn’t even arrive after an hour of waiting so we canceled the order altogether. The server tried to make up it to us by offering free drinks but never brought them over. The manager Mario came over to tell us to “try them again” during lunch or dinner but I won’t be back.Overall, not worth the price they’re charging for the portion size and taste when there’s better and cheaper Indonesian food in Toronto.
