North of Brooklyn pizzas have rapidly become my favorite pizza in Toronto. They’re crispy and fluffy on the crust but thin and still somewhat crunchy on the inside. They’re super flavorful and their menu offers a variety of different types. The salads are also super good, my favorite is the arugula one but the Caesar is great too. Coming into the pizzeria there’s a cool ambiance going on and it definitely invites to stay and have a couple of drinks and have dinner with friends. I believe they have some sort of arcade upstairs which seems cool too. Lastly, the staff is nice and friendly.
Ordered some pizzas online for pickup. They have an option for you to write in case you want something special about your pizza so I asked for no onions.The pizza still came covered with onions so I was disappointed.Other than that I have no complaints, both pizzas were very tasty and the garlic knots were very good as well! I hope to one day visit the place in person since it looks very nice :)
Difficult to order online and when i called for help, staff was rude and unhelpful, I went their to order in person soon after and was turned away as well. What kind of restaurant makes ordering a pizza this difficult?! The smug atmosphere all around this location was gross. Hopefully all the other locations have better service/helpful staff as this place needs a reality check asap...
We ordered the Green Out pizza and absolutely loved it. It was very well made and something different from the regular red sauce. Their pizza sauces are delicious and I'd highly recommend trying this pizza. We also ordered their garlic knots and they were very good. Love the options in their menu. ?
Pizza was good (not great) but really over-priced given the service is not great. $30 for a paper-thin pie with only 2 sparse toppings... and I know thin is good and too many toppings creates a soggy mess... but there is a balance. As others have noted, takeout service was lack lustre. I called to place an order a few weeks ago and got attitude immediately from the person on the phone. I was so put off I went farther for another option. For the price you are paying, the service should be exceptional and not just when the server is working a table for a tip. Should be across the board, over the phone, at the take out window etc. Hope they can tighten this up because it has all the makings of a great spot.
The pizza is very good, but do not order takeout. As you can see from the photos there are 15 people standing outside waiting to pick up their food, inside all of the staff are chatting at the end of the bar, one guy is doing the take out window and moving at a snails pace, the fact nobody is helping him is embarrassing
Probably one of the BEST pizzas I've had. I live in Vaughan, close to Woodbridge and haven't found any pizza anywhere close to North of Brooklyn. I've had pizza in New York, Brooklyn and was born and raised in Montreal. The crust is key, and this crust is excellent!! Toppings are fresh and well cooked. Aside from the fantastic taste what I really like is a large is actually LARGE. For those who order from the pizza chains You're missing out on what pizza is all about.
The Truffle Shuffle pizza is delicious (though a little oily). Service is pretty good, but awkward as this is a shared location - pizza from one place, drinks from another…meaning you have two separate bills that have to be paid at two different locations.As is the case with a lot of pizza places, there aren’t many vegetarian, or non-pork options.————————For more food and travel content. Had two kinds of North of Brooklyn pizza that were delivered to a party and both were delicious, with thin crusts cooked just right and fantastic toppings, but I have to give it to the Truffle Shuffle as the one that just left me with the most incredible memorable first bite. A bit pricey, but there is absolutely no mistaking this for $3 frozen pizza!
I got a half truffle shuffle and the other side green out. WOW it was outstanding the green out one of the best pizza's I have ever had in my life.
