I loved the massive rolls here! Probably the most bang for your buck sushi restaurant in the annex.That said, my chicken teriyaki bento was a little inconsistent in quality. The shrimp tempura was great, but the chicken tasted dry and overcooked. The gyoza was meh too. The salmon maki was giant in size but it wasn't the best I've tasted.Nonetheless, the value you get can't be overstated. If you're looking for an above average sushi place at great prices/portions, this is your place.
Amazing food, great staff. We had our Corporate Holiday party here and everyone loved it. Best sushi place I’ve been to yet.
Clean, food very good. Staff is super friendly and readily to help. Would go back anytime. Only drawback for me, alcohol choices are very limited, not a deal breaker, but I wish they'd offer much more choices.
New Generation is one of my favourite Japanese restaurant. I love their sashimi and sushi so much. Every time visit food quality and service all ways good.I am highly recommended.
The food taste so delicious and the sashimi are so fresh n staying at a chill temperature. The servers are super friendly with excellent service. Good atmosphere and it’s perfect to have a party or friends gathering there. But you need to make an reservation ahead and they will prepare the rest and the best for you. Honestly, I can’t find anything that need to be improved and it’s perfect. This is my first time to write a review on a restaurant. I am so lucky that my friends have invited me to try this amazing sushi restaurant.
Pleasantly surprised by the service, atmosphere and options. Was looking for an AYCE spot but came here and was very happy. We shared a mixed tempura app., and ordered two combos and substituted one of the options out for dynamite and spicy Salmon. We had to pay a bit extra but it was worth it. They offered an extra soup and salad since we ordered two and there were three of us.?? Everything tasted very fresh and yummy! they do not over-do it with the rice on the Maki's as some AYCE places do. They offered us some complimentary ice cream in the end which was much appreciated!?Atmosphere is super cute. There are some paintings on the wall that liven the place up. Service was great, I was stuffed and paid less than an AYCE spot would've cost. Will be back!?

This place is difficult to spot but it's surprisingly nice and calm. Rolls were really tender and our Bento Box was full of tasty things. The stuff was incredibly polite! Drop in when you're nearby! A truly great place for sushi!
One of the best sushi places on the strip! The quality and quantity of food is great among the strip of food places near Bathurst Station. The price is decently affordable and also the service is impeccable!During the pandemic (stage 3), New Generation Sushi adapted to the demand and does not do their usual All-You-Can-Eat but went straight to their standard menu items. We ordered Edamame, Makimono Set A (6pc of Tuna, Salmon & California Maki) and NewGen Grill Bento (Grilled short ribs and chicken, gyoza and seafood tempura and rice + 8pcs crunch roll, 2pcs salmon sashimi and salmon sushi). Both came with soup and salad! With the amount of food that came to our table, we were absolutely startled that it was less than $60 total not including tip. With the amount of food we got, we had get our food to-go!The service we got was impeccable! The staff were all very nice, followed up with us constantly and gave us water when we didn't ask. They were absolutely professional and we were served constantly as food came out or they checked-in with us if the service was good. We also got extra plates when they noticed we were sharing (without us asking)! The staff also helped us bagged out food to-go and was very kind and thorough even as we have cashed out seeing if we needed any more water. They also sanitized the tables and had clear dividers (with coloured tabs for accessibility/visibility) as well for protocol.
Great food as always. Love the seafood salad and beef tataki appetizers! The sushi is always fresh and tastes great.
