We tried malai Boti Naan and Brisket Naan: they were a kind of okay but not outstanding. I think they were a bit over cooked, the chicken Naan was over stuffed with sauce. The Kashmiri chai was a disappointment. The Kashmiri chai is cooked in a full fat milk the whole night then you get the consistency that goes with it. I tried to speak with the chef too, but I was told he is very busy. I trust they can make things better
Visited Naan & Chai for lunch. We sat on the patio that was nice and shaded. I had a signature Kashmiri Tea with Paneer Tikka Naan and my husband had a mango lassi with a Channa Chaat Naan. Both meals were spicy and delicious. Service took around 15mins. Each naan was approx. $15/ea, the tea was $4 and mango lassi $3. I highly recommend a visit. Portion sizes are big; I ate 2/4 of my quarters and took the other two home for later. I would definitely be back!
This is really the best place to have tea. Thats what we expected.. but this is more than that…Stuffed naan is really awesome here.. We had Paneer tikka naan. And we loved it..The kadak traditional indian chai is good too..Must try this place.. no regrets…Plus the Vibe is this place.. OMG.. its just next level..5/5 for everything…Thank you Naan and Chai..
The food I eaten was actually from Meat&Pie Company! The food I ate was good but a little expensive. But my only complaint I have is that they should put on the TV screens the dishes they have on the menu and put the name of the dishes so that people who are coming there for the first time will know exactly what they are getting to oppose to guessing. I see Naan and Chai displays their foods on the TV but no name to go with the pictures. I told the manager but I hope he will listen to me about my idea.
great food and drinks. Everything came out fast and fresh. customer service was great as well. will def. be back!
Went to the Mississauga location today for my mothers 70th Birthday lunch. The food was Amazingly good as we had the Philly cheese steak, smoke Brisket and the chicken Bihari. Yet, the big bonus of our visit was hands down the sweet and positive service by Jada . This server went over and above to make my mother’s visit very special. I was definitely amazed by her great energy and lovely care for our comfort level. Jada is a beautiful person and a great asset to this restaurant for sure. The other staff on duty was also very friendly and wished my mother a happy birthday, we will be back for sure and highly recommend Naan and Chai Mississauga.
went here for 1st time and probably last.1. we ordered karak chai, which is just karak by name only, it was very light and only had flavor of cardamom, no saffron found anywhere either physically or in taste.2. Naans are over priced and simply another way of eating a wrap. they litrellay put whatever stuffing (gravy) you want in the naan and serve you, which is very tasteless combination. the portion size is small and low. taste is just so so.3. for one sweet spicy chicken naan with 2 karak tea, we paid $32 with tax. with same amout of money you can have many better alternatives with generous portion sizes and taste.4. place was clean, spacious, service time was good. food service girls were serving food with open hairs flying everywhere, which is a food safety hazard as its highly possible that loose hair might end up in the food served!
Tried the Saffron Karak (means KADAK, I think!! ?) tea, loved the tea. I added two sugars to it, to get it upto my liking. The staff suggested to go for Chocolate Waffle , as fries were not available before 4pm. Excellent suggestion!! Loved it. My son and wife both loved it. We also had Butter Chicken Naan (stuffed naan with butter chicken) Nice authentic taste. The dip added to the overall experience. Staff was nice as well.
Very Good and friendly staff and everyone is happy
I’ve had their brownie & Nutella stuffed naan twice in the past few weeks and it’s AMAZING. Probably one of the best desserts I’ve ever had.
