As a first time visiting this place,I would say it was great! We have paid $52 per person. It was kinda messy since we got there 10 minutes before the kitchen closed. Lesson learned never order everything at one! Do go at closing time! Be hungry when you go there! As you can see we had to order 1st & 2nd time together time before kitchen was close. We ended up wasting a lot ☹️
Found out this place is halal and honestly loved it. They give you a clean grill in front of you, they crossed off all the non-halal options off the menu for us as well :) The hot pot we got was medium spice (Szechuan) and it was too spicy (coming from someone who loves spice) I recommend mild or 1/2 mild! (They also have a little hotpot bar where you can add dips and ingredients). The grilled beef was really good the veggies were all super fresh as well! The service was nice and overall 10/10 experience. Their side dishes like their popcorn chicken was also a hit loved it!
Was so glad to see a halal kbbq/ hot pot option! Food was great. The only thing was I wish there was a marinated option for meat, for example having short ribs marinated in kabli sauce. Also when ordering both hot pot and kbbq, it was hard to distinguish what meat was for what. Would be nice if items for each came in different coloured plates or something (ex black for hotpot and white for kbbq)Overall very happy with this experience and all the meats were satisfying.
The food was good, the service was OK. We are a family of 5, and when we were ordering drinks, the waiter took the order from 2 of our family members and walked off. The rest of us were like...ummm, we would like something too. We asked the wait staff how does the hotpot experience work as we are 'newbies'. Literally was told that you order a broth and it sits on the burner in front of us, that's it. Nothing about marking what meats, veggies, etc we wanted from a paper left at the table. And when we did it wrong, we were 'corrected' (aka...we did it wrong) ?. The only other complaint I have was being charged a service charge (tip) as we were considered a 'large' group. At no point was I told this in advance (when I made our reservations), nor did I see it on the menu. This is the first time I have ever had to pay as a large group tip for our family. This experience has left us quite disappointed. ?
We had the hotpot. The items were decent for an ayce place, not many options compared to other places. Hot pots were not for individual, they were communal. The snacks were pretty good, enjoyed the fried rice cakes.
Got there on a busy night and was seated right away, the staff came to check on us and see if everything was good numerous times. The food and broth was fresh and tasty and the atmosphere was nice. Only thing I'd say is that some of the staff had trouble understanding what we were asking them at times which made it difficult to order, however not a huge deal. Great place!
I really did like this spot. 1st time trying it here in Canada. We enjoyed everything that was served to us and was fun cooking it your self. Staff was super friendly and was clean for the most part.
I had quite an issue with the food, but the staff was very understanding and supportive. They addressed my complaint satisfactorily and professionally. The food was tasty, but I would not recommend the Fried Spicy Pork slice if you are not a fan of peppercorn powder.
Some of the best hot pot in my books. The food is always so incredible, the broths are deep and rich, and the staff there always greet with a smile. The place runs efficiently, and will always have a crown there no matter what time you go. Even during no-dining lockdowns, there's a bunch of couriers waiting to pick up food.
Love this place. The staff is great, fast and efficient. The owner takes the time to say hi to us and thanks us for visiting. They had the best duck broth that is no longer on the menu because not enough people ordered it which makes me sad because they don't realize what they were missing!
