I came here with my family and it was an amazing experience! When I got there, I noticed food was fairly cheap (compared to other restaurants) so I expected not a lot of food to be in the meals (portion wise). Once I finished ordering, it was probably 20 minutes until they brought my food and that was very impressive as they were extremely understaffed when I was there. The food was filling, and delicious. The waitress I had was very nice, and the building was quite clean considering it is in Toronto! I would definitely go here again, and I recommend you do too!
Great gyros/shawarma wraps. The meal with a wrap, fries and salad is stupidly huge, so expect to take some home. Great value.
Very nice Greek restaurant on the Danforth! Very friendly staff and extremely clean and well-kept. Great menu!
Friendly staff, food is cheap and vast food per plate, but my overall experience was not that great. Placed smelled funny (not pleasant) since we got in, side potatoes were cold and not tasty, chicken gyro crack in half after 2 bites, tzatziki sauce was just yoghurt not very tasty. I would only recommend this place in a hurry or if you’re looking for a cheap meal.
As far as I know this place has been there for long time. Hence the interior of it looks pretty old. The restaurant or the place as a whole could use a face lift. Lighting of the place also didn't go well with it's setup. I have to say, food was average. Salad was good but the meat tasted but weird. Cheese pie was ok. Server was polite and cordial.
Had their gyros after almost 10 years - I used to be a regular. The quantity and quality were excellent! One small tip, if you like your pita a little toasty (like they do in Greece) ask for it. İt seems their default is to give the pita very lightly toasted and a bit dry (might be for Canadian tastes). İn Greece we like our pita toasted and a bit oily :)
Amazing food, amazing price, amazing service. Highly recommended.
I came here to meet a friend for a Saturday lunch. It was sort of busy when I came in. There were only two servers working the restaurant, which I think was a mistake on their part as it got busy soon after. When I came in I was asked for my vaccine proof & id contact tracing. I got a table for two. I was promptly given water after I was seated & then I ordered a calamari appetizer since I was quite hungry. My friend arrived & we made our main meal orders. Then the appetizer came. It was quite big for an appetizer! There were at least 13 good sized pieces of calamari with a side salad. If I had known it would've been that big I wouldn't have ordered a main meal. I had ordered the beef & lamb pita too. I ate what I could of the calamari & my friend had some of the salad. By this time my pita had arrived. But they got my order wrong. I had asked for no tzatiki (I'm lactose intolerant). So I had to ask them to make me another one unfortunately. My correct order came & I started eating it. It was delicious. However the slices of meat were really cut big & hard to chew through. The french fries inside the pita were good. This meal though I'd say is meant to be eaten with knife & fork. It's too messy to eat it by hand. The pita is on the bottom & everything else is on the top. They roll the pita a little but since it's not that big you have a big gap in the middle where the food falls out. The place itself it somewhat small. The walls are painted yellow & the furniture is wood. They have booths at the back of the restaurant. Tables for everywhere else. There are two small tables at the front by the windows. The kitchen is at the front where everyone can see the food being prepared. The washrooms are downstairs & they were clean. However the sink has some rust stains. The bathrooms could use a renovation. They were keeping some of the dining space closed I think due to covid. But the lineups at the front soon grew long. With only two servers they were constantly busy. The food was going out of the kitchen quickly & that's good. But they should've had someone at the front of the house checking id, & seating people. Don't make the servers do that if you're short staffed. Poor guys were doing the best they could. The prices here are good for the proportions they give you. I think I would rather come though when they are less busy. The food was good & the service was good too. I would come here again. It might be nice in the summertime if they had an outdoor patio. They do have some sidewalk space in front of the restaurant.
The meat wasn't cooked well. Nothing Greek in the menu. A transformed way of cooking Greek cuisine. Salad without olive oil. Pita wasn't tasting good. Fried fries were overcooked.
Dine in greek gyro restaurant in greek town. Cant go wrong. Quick no frills service. Nothing too impressive nothing to complain about. Always buzzing. We had the lamb +beef pita gyro and it was really nice.
