Quite interesting options on the menu, all very Canadian. Nice presentation of dishes. We had the chorizo and the cod, both very good, as well as the sticky toffee pudding. Decent list of wines served by the glass. Patio is very agreable. Service is not only excellent but tip is included in the prices and the waiter won't accept any extra. My first experience here in Canada with this kind of service: amazing!
Food lacked flavour; very small portions; bread was cold; over all disappointing, especially for the price paid.
We had a lovely mother's day celebration dinner here. Atmosphere was great. Food quality was great. Only criticism is that portions were a bit small. Of note, this restaurant does not accept gratuities/tips and the wait staff are up front with this. Would definitely return again!

Dinner for two Went out for date night with my partner on a Friday at 845. The atmosphere of Marben is so cute, I love the interior decor that’s rustic and modern. We ordered the chicken app which arrived promptly and was delicious. Waited almost an hour for our mains. The burger is incredible! The pork belly was also really great but the sides (collard greens) left something to be desired. May return again for the burger. A note on the service: both tables next to us had a hard time flagging down a server to get more water or to get their bills. They are no longer accepting tips at Marben, so I’m wondering if this is impacting service? Overall good night and food was good!

As usual, the Marben team went beyond expectations. Special thanks to Aliza and Michelle who were attentive to all details and to the chef's team who crafted a tasting menu that is different from a lot of dining experiences in King street west. A must-try for all jaded foodies and cocktail lovers.
