I love some good pork bone soup and this place literally has the words pork bone soup in the name. They do have excellent pork bone soup, and their side dishes (especially the picked radish and fish cakes) are also spectacular. Had them refilled at least twice. I will have to try their other menus in the future. Only downside would be that there is no dedicated parking space :(I would definitely return here for more quality pork bone soup in the future.

Outstanding service and good pork bone soup. Made a reservation for a large group on the weekend and the staff were extremely accommodating before and during our visit. The pork bone itself was a good size (got the regular which is quite filling for one person) and comes with a side of rice. The broth was very flavourful and had 3-4 large pork bone pieces. There were seating areas both inside and outside the restaurant - only thing to note is there is limited parking close to the restaurant.

I ordered the pork bone soup with ramen noodles instead of rice. I wasn't super starving so the portions were perfect. The food was good as always and I appreciate that they still have the barriers in between each table! The pricing is reasonable compared to other restaurants (~$20 after taxes and tip) but it was a bit of a sticker shock since I've had pork bone soup years ago. I remember when it used to be $5 a bowl (not at this location) but I guess thats the cost of living in the 416 now. I still recommend going there. I'll definitely be going again once the patio is set up!

They serve as some delicious pork bone soup. The flavours are just right. Very good presentation too as you can see from the pics. Their kimchis are also?really good. Doesn’t come with rice though. The price is also a bit more than their competitors, but you get what you pay for. They definitely have their ingredients down and you will surely love it!!P.s sometime you can snatch free parking in a little parking lot a bit north of the store, in front of the dentist shop

Service: the staff were so nice ☹️? It was a busy day, but they still came to check on us often just in case we needed more drinks, side dishes, or soup. No attitude at all.Price and portion: for what you pay for, you end up with a lot of food. Side dishes were refillable (and delicious). I think it’s cheaper to get one giant pot to share instead of going to a different restaurant and ordering multiple smaller-sized meals.Overall, this place is so lovely. <3 Hoping to come again soon :)

I came over with my friend on last Friday night, I’m so glad they followed rules by Ontario Health Ministry to check everyone’s vaccinations. We ordered Mapo Gamjatang(for 2-3 people) and the Korean Fried Chicken. Gamjatang came in really good portion and was definitely tasty, fried chicken was also finger licking good, however I was a bit disappointed by the rice cake in the fried chicken, which was too dry compared to the super juicy chicken. Services are nice and waiters are patient.

Very tasty pork bone soup. It was served on butane gas stove to keep it hot. Korean side dishes were also amazing. Definitely recommend this place to anyone who loves Korean food.

Although it was not like the taste I tried in Korea, but it was delicious too! To my husband who had never tried 감장탕 before, he really loved it! He not only finished his bowl but also half of mine too! (he seldom eats so much)It is colder and colder now, strongly recommend making the reservation at least one day before the date you go, or you have to wait outside

Mapo Gamjatang has a very focused menu that mainly features pork bone soup with vegetables and a variety of noodles. You can have the soup with hand pulled dough (I highly recommend this), glass noodles, wide glass noodles, or Ramyeon. We ordered the pork bone soup that comes in a big metal pot to share. The pot rests on a table top gas stove, as the soup boils down, the server tops up your soup. Mapo Gamjatang makes a special mustard vinaigrette for you to dip the pork meat in, this sauce cuts the fat and brings out the flavour of the pork, it’s absolutely delicious !Mapo Gamjatang also serves up Tonkatsu, KFC glazed in a special sticky and sweet sauce and stir fried bulgogi. However, with a name like Mapo Gamjatang, please don’t come here and leave without trying their pork bone soup okay ? ???It was such a wonderful experience, we loved our meal here, you’ve got to try it!Hope you enjoy your meal here as much as we did.??‍♀️ @foodiemibear

So delicious! service and food were amazing. I was really happy I came, not salty at all and so many veggies. 100% recommend for Korean pork bone soup!
