I’ve been here twice and the coffee and food are good, but the manager (or someone who’s usually working) is surprisingly and unnecessarily condescending and patronizing if you ask any questions. You can get comparable stuff elsewhere with much friendlier staff.

Won’t be returning because I paid and tipped to sit down, then found out they don’t offer wifi! Wifi is the expectation at cafes now, I wish they were upfront about it with new customers asking to sit.

Amazing coffee, very friendly staff and for the home baristas you can order beans straight from their online store!

Just visited the store a few minutes ago and left with just discontent. As soon as we entered the store we went straight in because we assumed the menu would be somewhere in the centre. We didn’t see it was in the corner (not somewhere new customers would spot instantly). So me and my boyfriend went and stood right in the centre because most small coffee shop have their menu above their cashier. First off, we were not directed and asked to wait at a spot and this other customer asked us to “stand back” very rudely which was very unnecessary. It was my first time there and it was such a unpleasant visit. I think the cashier could do a better job at greeting and directing its customers given the pandemic situation we’re working with. Also, I got a Hot chocolate which was not “Hot” it was Luke warm. Quite disappointing!:)

Great place to stop in if you're looking for a dose of caffeine or pastry to enjoy while out and about or on the go!

Great coffee (strong, yet smooth) at a more than reasonable price! (large is $2.85) The barista is attentive and engaging.

Great coffee and customer service with the cutest cups.

Everytime we visit Toronto, we make our way to Manic Coffee for lattes, London Fogs, a cup of jo, and some of the best pastries around. I drink a lot of good coffee and always seek out the better spots when traveling. Manic coffee is my favorite in Toronto. I think about it even when I'm not there. On top of it all, the staff is super-friendly as well as quick at getting the orders out and the short wait in line is never too long. The only drawback is that there is no place to sit, everything is to go. Their indoor seating is closed off and there is no seating on the sidewalk. If they can get that going again, it would be absolutely perfect!

Wow. My first time here and I read a review about how great the pastries were. I had the apple turnover and it was hands down one of the best pastries I have ever had. They are all made in house as well. Coffee was great also. If you are nearby don't hesitate. Check this place out!

Great spot. They do drip coffee, which seems to be harder and harder to find these days. The owner Tony is a really nice guy, remembers everyone. The baked goods are on another level and made in house. The croissant is the best croissant I have ever had. It’s so good I haven’t tried anything else yet but I hear it’s all great.
