Went for a retirement party for a former high school teacher. It was a great experience with good hosts, and although overall it was quite pricey and the food was decent, it was a nice event space.
Lula is always a good time. Food and drinks were good excellent. The programming is diverse and reflective of Torontoâs Black and brown communities.

We had a great night. The food was very good, the Salmon and Carnitas was fantastic. The staff were very helpful and treated us special. We had our table reserved all night so we didn't have to worry about dealing with other people taking our seats. We found space on the popular dance floor. The crowd were all very nicely behaved and respectful. Overall a perfect evening.
Food was great, entertainment was amazing. The only thing was it was just too cold. Didn't have comfortable time eating or dancing, the AC was blowing very hard as if sitting in the car and you have the window open a bit. It was too cold to enjoy dinner. Even when dancing started the area was too cold. Other than that everything was amazing.
