Place is very nice and the food is awesome, they have really good specials and happy hours and service is very friendly and personalized.
The food was pretty good. Prices are decent but the portions were rather small. The waitress forgot to enter my order and when I asked for an update she stated that "they were almost done". Our booth was located directly in front of the kitchen and we could see her clearly asking them to start it ASAP. Rather disappointing especially with no acknowledgement of the issue or apology. 15% gratuity is automatically entered FYI.**EDIT**The waitress confronted us about the review and insisted she didn't forget to punch my order in despite us watching everything happen directly in front of us. Very poor customer service.**SECOND EDIT**Hello Isa,I don't appreciate your combative and rude reply to my negative review. It seems you do that to anyone who would question the restaurant's flaws. To clarify, I don't see how I treated Claudia rudely. We asked for an update on my food because you brought my partner's food and after about 15-20 minutes, I had not received my order yet. She punched the order in, after speaking directly to us (please do not insult our intelligence by implying it was another customer's order when she went straight to punch it in after speaking to us) and whispered to the chef to make it. If it was about making another batch of marinated shrimp, why did we not see anyone doing anything while we sat in front of the kitchen. When Claudia confronted us about the review, I said 'okay' to her, and repeated the word when she pushed the issue. I don't see how that's rude. What's rude is lying instead of taking responsibility for a bad experience. You should be able to take constructive criticism without attacking the people who simply are stating what happened. The fact that you are fighting with customers who had a bad experience looks badly on you and your staff. That is bad customer service. Please reflect on yourself before you insult others with baseless lies.
The food and drinks were delicious at a reasonable price! Props the the chef who came to our table and asked for feedback. Very professional on his part. Just wish the service was a bit more welcoming however, but will definitely come back
Am a non-alcoholic, had a virgin Pina Colada, was alright.. One can visit! And for Alcoholics lots of options and those interested in Latin Music Nightouts can visit..
Food was good and service was ok. Booth provided some privacy for a group of four.
Patrons beware: Dirty and cockroaches!!My partner and I decided to go to Limon Lounge Restaurant because we were in the area and saw it had good reviews. From the exterior it looked like a quaint little diner but the minute we got inside the vibe was much different. The floors and walls were disgustingly dirty. There was meat thawing on the counter in dollar store bins right beside an open bin of nachos and directly behind our table. The wait staff wasn’t very welcoming or professional. We were seated and given a menu with no pages. Just being in there made us both feel extremely uncomfortable. We decided to only have a drink and eat elsewhere. While we were waiting for our drinks, a giant cockroach started running across the wall right beside my partner’s head. We immediately decided it was time to leave. When we alerted the wait staff, they looked annoyed and not surprised by the situation. This is definitely the first time I've seen something like this in the city, the fact that the cockroach was in the dining area makes me question how cleanly both the kitchen and food storage area is. I can understand how this place could suit a lounge/bar setting, however I dont think it should be in food service.Edit:Hi Isa,The vibe we were expecting was a clean and sanitary restaurant to enjoy some food at. Prior to coming to the restaurant, we had seen some photos of the restaurant from a blogTO post that was publicized on July 1, 2019. It set an expectation for the restaurant to be clean. It’s been three years since that post was made. We understand there is normal wear and tear, but the condition of the restaurant was beyond that in our subjective opinion. The menu incident in isolation isn’t a big deal but in combination with the restaurant’s overall appearance, ambience, and the cockroach sighting, we felt like it was worth mentioning since it did contribute to the overall uncomfortable experience we had while being in the restaurant.Thank you for reviewing the surveillance and bringing us a new menu. If you reviewed the surveillance, you can probably see the moment we saw the cockroach and when we discreetly and respectfully told the wait staff what we saw.It is upsetting that you’re questioning our experience in such a combative and dismissive way.We will not be returning.
Soooooo fun! Every other restaurant we planned to go to was closing early, so we decided to try Limon...and im.glad we did! We didn't make it in time for food but the mojito and margaritas i had were amazing! And let's talk about the dancing! I had so much fun! If you want a place where you can just dance your Latin moves and not worry about creepy guys, this is the spot to go! Great atmosphere! Great music and drinks!
Food and drinks were just okay, reasonably priced, but nothing extraordinary. The steak nachos were pretty good. But…I’m no ceviche expert but I don’t think the shrimp should still be grey right?Service was poor. Server was inattentive and not very friendly. She ignored us when we got there and were looking for a table, then didn’t bring water after being asked twice. She didn’t check up on us until we were already done eating. It explains why they put an auto 15% gratuity on the bill. They also proceeded to prompt us to tip on top of that.Overall it was fine but I wouldn’t be in any hurry to return. Lots of other good restaurants nearby!

They add automatic tips to your bill and don’t tell you before hand so if you plan to go pay attention to your bill.I went on a Wednesday with a friend around 8:30 pm. Friend paid for our first bill plus tip. I paid for drinks for us later. I looked at the bill total wondering why it seemed higher and asked him what his said from earlier. I took a second look at my bill and seen they added automatic tip without telling me. They didn’t tell my friend either. It was our first time there so for the staff to assume we knew was unfair and sneaky. I had to leave my seat to go get our drinks as it was starting to get busy but one bartender looked at me standing at the end of the bar with money in my hand before she ran out from the bar to go hug and chat with a friend. Then after she came back to the bar, I was still sitting there waiting and watched her start serving others until another friend of mine who is known there got her attention because she was also waiting. What was I being charged a tip for when I had to seek service and get it myself? When I approached the owner all he said was “they should have told you” yeah but they didn’t. So not only did our first server get double tipped the second worker also got a tip for pouring a shot after ignoring me? No thanks. I will determine the tip based off the service myself and add it if I choose to go back.
