Spent almost $100 in this restaurant just to receive low-grade, old-tasting, not-even-microwaved food. The plantains tasted like it was cooked last month. The chicken tasted like it was on the brink of being rotten. The pondu was starting to smell bad (I am not exaggerating)I also got attieke but it was so hard I couldn’t finish half of it.95% ended in the garbage can, I filed a complaint with uber eats they were kind enough to reimburse me. The disappointment is real…I don’t know if it was a bad day for them but I felt extremely disrespected as a customer to spend that much money and get food that was probably cooked a week or two ago.
First time visiting this place. Food was amazing. I was scared about the customer service after reading the comments, but the guy was pretty friendly. It was hard to locate the place, so call once you arrive for direction. I ordered jollof rice with chicken, it was pretty TASTY, small potion doe. I order the tuna and cassava (attieke), which was good considering my first time trying that dish. I feel like it needed a sauce to give it an extra kick. However for a safer option, I would suggest the chicken with jollof rice.
Very peaceful place for eating
Good place
Ordered from here through uber eats.Had the pondu , casava couscous, choukaya de chevre( goat for you commoners)and fried plantain.Wasn't expecting much but I have to say , this was tasty! i thought my mom made the best pondu but this was making me question my life. so GOOD . The goat could be more tender but I was still getting over the pondu revelation...Highly recommended . i enjoyed every little bit. Thanks!
