Needed a quick bite and head to the nearest museum. Alone person on the counter to take orders and make them.Ordered a Falafel on rocks and sticks. Preferred the lentil rice (rocks), but the location did not have any and so disappointing.The fries freshly made and so were the falafels which were made after we ordered them. As usual the Lazeez brand did not fail (just as most of the locations we have been to).More importantly the person on a Sunday afternoon that made this order was very pleasant and provided great service. Extra stars just for his amicability.
I recently went to this location for Dinner and the food was really good. Even though the store was extremely busy, the staffs did their level best to complete orders asap. Excellent customer service. I’m impressed. Good job Lazeez team!
I am a recent customer of this location but I won't be going back any time soon. Honestly, bad service is pretty normal at the Overlea location. When I experience really bad service, I am compelled to do a review as everyone should be made aware of the poor business practices of a particular business or location. The gentleman that works there is not at all customer friendly and can be downright rude in both his customer approach and his ability to communicate with the customer. The young ladies that work there are nice though. Too bad they have to work with such a curmudgeon. It is this type of business that will blame the customer and make like they are the victim. Additionally, in preparing to do this review, I noticed the bad reviews lately and can vouch for some of the experiences as I have had similar. It should be noted that one should take note that 10 excellent reviews were listed immediately in one day following the bad reviews. This is clearly a manipulation of the Google reviews system and clearly shows the dishonest attempt by this location to cover up the poor customer service skills, or lack of. If you want Shawarma, there are plenty of other Shawarma restaurants in the neighbourhood and you would be better off going to one of them.
Best place ever! Great food. Nice staff. Great service and food is made so quick you won’t believe it! It is so good I give it a 6 out of 5!

I first went to this Lazeez in 2019 when they first opened and was really disappointed with the taste of food for the price. I wanted give them a 2nd chance and went in February 2022. I'm glad I did.I tried their Philly Chicken Cheese wrap, it was okay not the best not the worst. The pita quality was pretty good. It was more like a shawarma. I also ordered Chicken on rock half and half. This platter was much better than before. You need to limit the amount of sauce you guys put on the platters, it ruins the taste. Or at least ask the customers what they want. Employees were friendly and sitting arrangement was not bad.To be honest, this Lazeez do not provide the authentic middle eastern shawarma taste but more like its a desi fusion. I am convinced to come back again.
Been a regular here for years but will stop going to this location moving forward!!! Ordered two chicken on the rocks half rice half fries. One large one medium. My brother started eating and underneath all the sauce saw a type of mini rock or pebble in his food. Will never come hear again, could have been a loose tooth if not discovered as he’s only a kid..
Good food, but I wish the male staff who prepare your meal would cover their nose with their masks. Also, they need to ask patrons ordering food to wear masks fully.
I bought a chicken on the rocks, and received hard rice with minimal amount of chicken on the rice and was very cold. The chicken was not alone minimal, but a bunch of crumbs with not actual solid pieces of meat. The server drowned my order with sauce so I was unable to actually see what i was given. Poor representation of potential lazeez has; that could be easily avoided by providing the customer with what they actually order. Will not be ordering from this location ever again.
I go to this lazeez so many times a month. Whenever I order from my workplace during lunch they always have it ready for pickup on time unlike other places that make me wait. Hands down recommend this location.
