We went to Lavelle to Celebrate my son’s graduation today. The place was nice, our server was awesome but still we ended up coming home with a horrible experience, to be remembered forever.Our table was partially in the Sun and because of the high heat & temperature we requested for umbrella to be moved a bit so that it gave full shade to the table and not just partial.We ordered French Truffle fries but when the order came, there was no truffle on them and were too salty. Did tell the server but she didn’t do anything about it. Rest of the food was too little, cold and dry…realized right away that people don’t come here because food is good!By the time our meal was getting over another server came to our table and started accusing us of moving the umbrella ourselves and threatening us that she needs to move it back, as there are other reservations and guests are waiting.We politely told her that our server and restaurant staff had moved the umbrella upon our request and that we did not even touch. She could clearly see that we were almost done and would be leaving soon but she still gave us an attitude, rolled her eyes and walked away.She clearly lacked and soft customer service skills and seemed to have never been trained on how to do her job.Sadly her words & attitude towards our family was very disturbing and disrespectful.Both my kids were so shaken up as to what did they even do wrong ?Had we been a white family sitting and celebrating there, the situation would have been totally different.But since we come from a visible minority, she assumed and classified our family as someone who would just move restaurant furniture by ourselves.We Left with a very bitter taste and experience.Despite this we tipped 18% as can’t blame our server for how the management trains its chefs and staff.We would not ever go back there and would not be recommending this restaurant to anyone of our friends and families.We have lived in Toronto for over 2 decades and today’s experience again reminded me that we are not from here and will always be judged and treated differently ???

Enjoyed the day on the the patio with beautiful views, some appetizers and tasty drinks. The service was friendly and quick.If you want more of a club vibe, go in the evening. Make sure you make reservations as they are always busy!
Great views of the city it’s true but that’s as far as the experience should go. Food was terrible and service was slow. Dried over cooked steaks. Sparse and bland sushi. Great place for an after work drink but definitely was not appropriate to take q client for dinner. Will be living this one down for a while. At least the vegan in our party didn’t complain.
A truly horrendous experience. We made reservations and called in when we felt we might be late. Somehow we managed to arrive on time only to discover that our table had been cancelled. The door control literally tried to gaslight us into believing we were 30 minutes late as if we didn't have our own clocks. He asked us to wait and after 45 minutes of waiting there was still no table. Upon deciding to leave suddenly a table was going to be available in 5 minutes. Naturally we left never to return.
Please please don’t waste your time going there.Since 2018 my bf and I wanted to go there. Finally on our third anniversary we went there. The food was horrible!!I got the burger with signature truffle fries the burger was burnt and the fries were too dry! Half way through our food the waiter asked us how’s everything and we told him about the dry fries and burnt patty and he looked at us and said well it doesn’t look like you two are not enjoying it since you are still eating it. I was shocked at his response..!!!!!!!My bf got the steak and told them he wants well done and it was medium rare so he was not happy but since the waiter was rude we didn’t bother saying anything. Wasted almost $150 for bad food…This place is only good for drinking not for food. Nothing with truffles in it tastes good.The only nice looking item was their green dragon roll.
Came here on a quiet weekday for some late night drinks and there was no wait. The spot lives up to its name. Great views, sleek interior design, wide spaces. Drinks and food were okay, but the atmosphere was worth it. Good spot for small and groups.
We were in winter and I can introduce only about that period. I don't know about swumming pool. So, cafe is on the roof, and has nice view. Staff is friendly. Food is tasty, various. Price is middle. We are generaly satisfied. For visit you need to book.Recommend...

I visited for the first time yesterday for an early Valentine’s dinner and it was lovely! All the workers we met were incredibly kind and fun, which started off the night nicely. The view from our seats was beautiful and the atmosphere was great, although a bit loud. We ordered from the Prix Fixe menu, which includes an appetizer, entree, dessert, and bubbly. The food was delicious and our server, Shaquille, was very attentive and nice! We had a great time and will definitely be returning once it gets warmer!
