I walk here for caffeine if I'm feeling tired in between my classes as I have 2 hours of free time in between my classes on Mon and Wednesdays.I find it's more worth going here than to Tim's because they have a cleaner area, their espresso tastes better and their dangos tastes really good!I've tried their Mitarashi, Kinako, Sesame and Honey Dango flavours. I definitely liked the honey and sesame flavours the most. But yeah, I definitely recommend trying this place if you are nearby.

Been wanting to try this place for a while! We got matcha smoothie and strawberry banana smoothie. They were good, but typical.I would love to try their other desserts like dango and puddings!

Great little place off of Dundas. At first It seemed like a hole in the wall type of place, but they kept getting customer after customer. The atmosphere was very quaint and the food was good. No complaints here!

I really liked this place. Great service. Good sweets. The lattés are really really sweet. I'd suggest getting 30% sugar.

Went here at 11:15PM, place still crowded, the staff, Soffia, was very very friendly and helpfull, super nice. Got 5 of their desserts, sesame mochi, mochi on stick, strawberry jelly cup and bobba drink. Super delicious, fressssssshhhh… the mochi dough is perfectly prepared.

I came here to study on a Thursday night around 8:30 pm. Unfortunately, all the tables were taken, so I had to sit on a stool by the window, which was pretty uncomfortable. A lot of people came in after me but had to leave since there weren't any available seats. I got a strawberry banana smoothie for $6 which didn't taste good but to be fair, I haven't tried their bubble tea and coffee, which might be better. The vibe of the place is alright since there are other students studying there but the decor isn't that nice. Overall, my biggest issue with this place is that there is very limited seating considering that it seems to be a popular study spot for students. Maybe I was unlucky that I went on an especially busy night, but I probably won't be going here again anytime soon out of worry that I won't be able to get a table.

We just found this hidden gem. They have my fave daifuku and it's reasonably price in a good location. It's hard to find anything worth of value anymore here in this city. Their coffee is not overpriced. They have good choice of traditional rice cake desserts which is hard to find in this city. Ive been to some of them and this is the best Ive got so far. Toronto have cafes only open for office hours but this place is open for night owls like me. I really hope they live up to what it's worth now. The workers (not sure if they are owners) are also friendly and welcoming. This is the one of the best cafes in Toronto. Keep up the good work!

Didn’t try other products, but bubble tea is disappointing! P.s.: I drink bubble tea from different places pretty much every day! Felt like milk mixed with water, not a lot of bubble (even though I ordered extra ones), no taste, not sweet at all. Bigger size (extra large) seems like a regular one. Might be trying desserts here, but definitely not recommend for bubble tea.

I was excited to go to Lait Night because I saw that they sell dango, which is hard to find in Toronto. I ordered 4 flavours of dango: honey, roasted soy bean, mitarashi and red bean. Unfortunately, all of the dango were very soft and they were shaped more like circles than balls. I think that Lait Night probably uses a rice flour to make the dango instead of mochi flour. When dango is made with mochi flour, it is chewy (not soft) and retains a spherical ball shape. The flavours of the dango from Lait Night were okay but the main thing that I enjoy about dango is the chewy texture, so I was somewhat disappointed. In addition, the dango took a very long time to be served because there was only 1 person working at the time. I only ordered the dango so I can't review the other items on the menu, but Lait Night serves many other desserts and maybe those ones are better.

My friend and I were looking for a dessert place that was open late at night and came across this place! The vibes inside was so calming and relaxing, a great place to eat and work.We got the dangos which were so warm and tasted great that we came in for a second time that night! The staff was also really friendly and a lot of variety on their menu! Would highly recommend trying them!
