This has become one of my favorite ramen spots when visiting the 6ix. Authentic ramen with a rich broth, fresh noodles and premium ingredients. My friends and I stopped by to sample a lil bit of everything. We shared the wagyu shoyu, shoyu black and spicy red ramen. We also ordered some curry, Katsu don and some shrimp tempura. We all agreed the wagyu shoyu was our favorite. The bowl was packed with plenty of meat. Everything from beef bone, brisket and high quality beef meat. The black truffle sauce added some nice flavor as well. The curry is also a must order. You get a nice thick curry with a big piece of katsu. We really enjoyed our meal here. Food is really fresh and price wise definitely reasonable right in down town. They have plenty of seating for small and large parties. Theres a lot vegetarian options as well. So glad my friends from the area recommended this spot. Despite the hot summer heat this Konjiki was so worth it.
Great broth. Noodles were well prepared.Egg was a bit overdone. No extra spice was offered. Pork was not as melt-ima your mouth as I was hoping.
The noodles texture is unbelievable. It passes the taste test where you want to shove more and more noodles into your mouth. Until you can't fit more. It has a remarkable chew, but soft and silky.Pork broth is balanced, but if you're looking for a pungent punch to the palate, it may not live up to that style. The Tokyo style lighter broths - the clam and shoyu are delightful. The balanced flavors shine through.Tempura has excellent batter flavor and deep fried without greasiness.
We had dinner with Ramen, we ordered two different types and Gyoza for starters. It was all very good. Being too occidental, I had to ask for a fork, but the flavour and texture were excellent.
We stopped by for a quick meal. The ramen broth is delicious and quite unique compared to other ramen shops. We also got the fried mushrooms and that was surprisingly delicious as well. Service is also friendly and quick!
I'll say it's just at the same level with Ajisen Ramen, just at the pass line of Ramen. It's edible, and it's good for some non-Asians who never been to Japan. At least, their food are fresh and you won't have to worry about your stomach after eating with them. Will I go there for a Ramen treatment? No. Will I go there for a refreshments when all other restaurants are closed at night? Yes.
This restaurant was literally across the street from my hotel, The Chelsea. They offered a good variety of ramen and - only at this location in the city - also offer tempura (which I did not try). My ramen and gyoza were delicious - excellent broth and good taste.
I liked the clam broth ramen. If you have a big appetite you can upsize your order.
They specialized in Tempura back to Japan, but not ramen.Ramen? 3 star.Tempura? I'll give a 3.5. Prawn itself is of good quality, it was sweet and chewy. But the batter was mediocre.
Service was extremely friendly and fast! The servers really paid attention to the details. The broth of the Premium Wagyu Ramen had a deliciously clean and umami flavour. The watercress brought another fresh dimension of flavour. The Smokey Black Tonkotsu Ramen had such a creamy, luscious broth. Both had a generous portion size of noodles and meat. The tempura had a nice coating, not too thick or thin. The salmon was such a highlight - the fish was still juicy and very tender. The price is justified by the experience and the quality of the food!
