Had the kinoya course for two and it was absolutely worth it. You are very full by the end of it. Miso soup and salad were delicious. Tempura delicious. And sushi - way more than we could handle. Also had the Japanese whiskey - which was nice! Good food for good value. Nice environment too with kind servers.
Walked in for diner. It seemed like they either were understaffed or busy as we saw a couple tables where the guests had left and their plates or credit card machine was still in the tables, un cleaned and not setup for the next guests. We waited a bit before someone greeted us and sat us. They have a good selection of food to chose from. We ordered the red spider maki, the super kamikaje, the unagi lover maki and the salmon oshi sushi for the two of us. We were both full and happy with our diner. It was nice and fresh and we especially liked the pressed sushi. If you pay cash, you get 10% off.
Good sushi, small portions. Fairly expensive but a nice environment. The $$ rating is a bit misleading -- I would reckon this qualifies as $$$ since you're not going to have a complete experience for less than 40$ per person. There are better options, but still very nice and well situated.

The several times I've been here, the service has been above average. Amazing small patio and the interior design is quite trendy. That being said, the food was great but could be slightly improved. Maki and sashimi were awesome but the nigiri seemed a little lacking. Overall, still worth visiting if you are in the area and definitely a great location for vibes.
Fresh and quality fish. Mid price-range sushi spot. Rolls are made well; good rice to ingredient ratio.
I ordered “salmon lover” came in a small tray. When I saw the rolls , I was really disappointed. It’s fat , it’s unchewable and ? ! I have never seen sushi rolls made of left overs. Thanks for not putting some bones in!Sushi pieces were ok, does not justify the rest .Would not recommend to anyone who knows what sushi place should be like.
One of the best sushi restaurants in the city! Delicious, fresh, quality ingredients and prepared with care. Staff is friendly and service was quick.Excellent value - top quality but priced much more reasonably than other restaurants of the same caliber.
AMAZING! I cannot praise this place enough. We went here before the raptors game and the food was amazing. The prices are so reasonable. The pear sake is unreal. I have tried a lot of sushi around and this is one of the best! The prices are amazing for the quality you get. The staff is extremely friendly as well!! I will be back
Meal was excellent! House roll was amazing and unique. House salad had a good twist on the usual dressing. Pricing very reasonable for good sushi AND gave a discount for cash. Will return for sure!
