Best sushi I’ve had in a LOOOOONG time. Partner and I were staying at an AirBNB in Leslieville and was looking for some great food. The owners recommended we check out Juzz Sushi.When we arrived after a short walk, we were promptly sat down and our drinks order taken. We opted for water but then ordered cold sake. The sake was reasonably priced, went down easily, and paired nice with our dinner.We ordered four rolls: torched mackerel, torched salmon, juzz bomb, and spicy tuna. The torched salmon was a bit more spicier than I thought it was going to be, but, regardless, all four rolls were phenomenal, ESPECIALLY the torched rolls.Definitely give this place a try, whether that be for take-away or sit down.
Absolutely the worst sushi I've ever had.Without a doubt 1-2 stars. Everything is chunky and the sashimi is very poorly cut. I don't know how anyone rated this well.
I tried ordering from this place through uber app at 8:40pm. They accepted order, knowing that they close at 9 and uber usually takes time to look for courier. Instead of waiting for the courier, or setting up a time period for ‘last call’, this place just close right at 9, keeping the courier waiting outside for so long. If you cant wait, just decline the order next time!
Very nice sushi and combos. Prices are reasonable. Butter fish was delicious. Look forward to returning.
Overall a good Japanese restaurant. The taste and quality are always consistent - good. The sushi portions are a bit smaller compared to other places and prices are a bit higher than average for similar quality/quantity. Their udon nuddle soup is delicious. Would recommend it for a quick/healthy meal.
So we ordered few rolls which some was vegan and mentioned on the app that these are vegan and add extra note at the end that pay attention to some orders and make sure they are vegan if not call us!First of all they put everything in a same container, which is obviously touched together with none vegan items. And then we found some fish eggs or not sure what on the vegan items which the none vegan ones that we ordered doesn’t contain them!! So disappointed
Everything was well packaged. It was quite a disappointment. Fish was fresh but the rice was dense, chewy and too sweet.
I love the sushi in this place! I always recommend this restaurant when someone want sushi. Price are affordable and service is really good
Loved the sushi for lunch. Had takeout but was quick and convenient. Very fresh and all good quality products.
I ate inside the restaurant with my sister a couple of days ago and seemed to be the only sushi place that offered dine in Leslieville. The prices are quite decent. I was surprised that they don't offer tempura but the sushi was quite good. The torched ika and salmon sushi was interesting as well as the sweet shrimp. I also liked the atmosphere inside and clean. The only thing I didn't like was how there was green onion inside the spicy salmon sushi (I don't like onions).
