Jumbo is my go-to place for souvlaki and they have never disappointed. Each dinner comes with a nice meaty skewer, a mound of fries, a good quality greek salad with an excellent amount of feta and a great tzatziki sauce. Even though there are places I could get souvlaki from that are closer or cheaper, Jumbo is always the better optionI've had their burgers as well and they're very good too; good portions, nice char and fresh toppings
Jumbo Burger lives up to its name and provides a pretty big burger with whatever you want on it. Great fries as well in a very generous small portion big enough to share.
Please visit DineSafe, Toronto, they failed.Literally vomited in my mouth when I witnessed the cook cleaning the washroom after a sewer back up and then immediately returned to preparing food. The floors had raw sewage and was disgusting. they where not washed or disinfected, just wiped with water and a rag. I witnessed the guy return to his work station with a dirty infested apron to cook food.They should have closed the seating area while they cleaned the mess. Walking through the seating area and then the kitchen with a bag full of rags infested with waste is not sanitary.Staff had Zero personal Hygiene as demonstrated by the one employee having his backside fully exposed while wiping his hands on his pants.If you are management and reading this, I suggest you invest in a food handlers course and staff training.Needless to say Toronto Public Health has been notified.
Fairly disappointed with my first order. I ordered a banquet burger and fries. To start they put just one very thin piece of lettuce.. just one small pickle which they cut and tried to spread out to cover the burger which it didn’t.. and very cold unsalted fries. The burger it’s self had good flavour and the bacon was good but for that price and what a banquet burger should be.. very disappointing.
I've been going to Jumbo Burgers for 10 years. The ownership changed during the pandemic, but the food is still great. Orders I've had: chicken souvlaki on a bun, cheese dog, banquet burger, onion rings (lightly fried), Greek salad (without olives).
ONE OF THE BEST OLD SCHOOL BURGER JOINTS IN THE CITY! I know the place was recently sold but locals have told me it hasn't changed much. Now that I don't eat red meat I'm gonna have to try the chicken souvlaki. Come here before you try the shack and the other place on Dundas.
Great traditional burger spot. They have juicy and tasty burgers, fries, onions and other food.They have a nice atmosphere. You can have a dine in or take out. Totally worth for the money!

The best burgers in the city. Home made and never disappointed. I was short a 1.25 I felt so bad I was going to run to my car. The staff was so nice, they told me not to worry. And the cashier paid by her own pocket. There are still nice people during these crazy times.
