A beautiful date night! Delicious dinner - we shared the lamb dinner for two and had incredible onion soup as a starter. The service was perfect. Excellent attention to our needs without being intrusive. Knew the menu and the wines thoroughly. The food was perfect. The dessert rewarded my sweet tooth but didn’t punish the waistline. Merci í toute l’équipe! Et surtout merci pour nous avoir servis dimanche soir - nous apprécions que vous travaillez pour qu’on a pu avoir un « date night »

Really superbly prepared french bistro food in a straight forward but elegant setting and friendly wait staff who don't talk down when you ask what is x. Highly recommended.

no patio, service a bit underwhelming. Clearly not necessarily a French restaurant looking at their menu

We had a very disappointing experience at Jules bistro last night. The ambience is definitely less put together than the west end location. Once we were sat, it seemed like the server forgot about us, and we sat for 20 mins before being able to order a drink. My paper plane was made without lemon juice and maybe without Amaro. We ordered their wagyu special which had a chewy tendon running through it. We were celebrating my boyfriend’s birthday and they forgot to put a candle on his dessert. The server brought us shots with our bill (which explained why it took so long to arrive) and explained she was hung over so she’d be sipping her shot slowly instead of chugging it.

We got the the prix-fixe menu which consisted of spicy shrimp appetizer, the rack of lamb as the main, and crepe for the dessert. It was a good value considering that it is the full size for each of the items. The service was excellent, and I would recommend this place.

Professionalism from waiters, outstanding chefs and overall great service. It was fun stopping by Jules. 🌻🖖

My new favourite spot in Leslieville. The food was delicious and perfectly cooked. The server was very knowledgeable and friendly.

Food is delicious. They have Prix Fix menus and steak is cooked to perfection. Worth going for a celebration or with friends for a social evening.

Visiting a French Bistro style restaurant I was excited. I ordered the Onion Soup which was a total let down. It was more a broth than an Onion Soup let alone French Onion Soup. Style over substance is a good way to describe it. The only resemblance to a typical French Onion Soup was the Gruyère Cheese on the bread. There was a lack of onions with any depth or flavour in the soup. For mains I had Steak and Fries. The steak was delicious and cooked to perfection however the fries clearly had be pre fried and then flash fried before serving. They were cold and hard and in some cases I couldn’t use the fork to eat them as they were too hard. The service was only okay. One server was enthusiastic. I did bring the cold French Fries to his attention and whilst he did kindly offer to get a fresh batch my steak would have been also cold by the time the new ones arrived. Pretty disappointing experience overall with the exception of the steak.

We enjoyed everything. Our appetizers, mains and desserts were all delicious. There was a lot of sharing of all the tasty delicacies. The strawberry pavlova for dessert was particularly outstanding!
