Best Jerk Chicken in the city. Let me say, I'm not one of those people from the Caribbean who goes crazy over Jerk Chicken all the time. I like it, but to me it's a food that just tastes good, but wouldn't go out of my way for it. That being said I WOULD GO OUT OF MY WAY FOR JERK KING'S CHICKEN. Great portions and even better taste, first time I've ever lined up for any food, that's how good it is, and their caramel flan is JUST like my Mom's.

I come here regularly for my lunch/dinner and it's never a bad time plus the food is great. The servers are nice too, especially Casey & MJ who are very friendly and, make the place more lively. Definitely would recommend.
Every food item is delicious!! Their Jerk chicken is the best in the city and so is their Fried chicken. But i am not a fan of the oxtail. They have wraps now and it is amazing and definitely will keep on going there.
Finished a long shift around 2am and went in, had the nicest sweetest girls serve me. I got a large portion, it will last like two days! Very tasty, good portions.
Jerk King has a special place in my heart (and stomach). There's always a huge line-up for a reason. You cannot go wrong with an order of jerk chicken with rice and peas, spicy gravy, and a patty or plantains on the side. Service is super quick and efficient.
We had two meat eaters and one vegetarian in our party. The meat eaters thoroughly enjoyed the flavor of the jerk chicken roti however felt that the chunks of potatoes were too large and too much in quantity (see picture as everyone took their leftover chunks out and placed them in a single container). The vegetarian in the group basically received an entire roti with these giant potato chunks with a very small amount of chickpeas and spinach. I do not recommend this place for vegetarians at all as you will be eating a meal of potatoes that you won’t be able to eat much of because of its larger size. Overall this was not suitable for us for a family dinner as the vegetarians had little to eat other than potatoes, however the meat eaters will likely order again.
Very juicy even at 4am in the morning lol. One downside is recently the jerk chicken gotten much much more spicier which I had to throw mine away. Hope they lower the spice level a bit.
What happened to this place? Use to get good food,with good portions. Ordered large oxtail only to be giving 1 size,with 5 peices of meat and a small size portion of rice ($17+). Use to get $23 of oxtail, with lots of pièces. The server then decided to call the owner because I complained and wanted to change my order. Believe me, had I not had work I would've waited to speak with the owner had 1 shown up. Jerk King? More like Jerk Joke.
Had a large jerk chicken (bone-in) with rice/peas plus oxtail gravy. Staff very friendly and courteous, portion size was very generous, price was decent. The food tasted terrific, and I had a hard time deciding between a 3 and 4 star review. The issue being that the jerk chicken didn't taste like jerk chicken! It was delicious, but the only way I could describe it would be a fusion of a sweetened chicken cacciatore and medium spice curried chicken.
