The mackarel is SUPERB!!! Mindblowing delicious! Juiciest ever! Salt then grilled simple. I could smell the sea where it was coming from! WOOOW! The skewers are so good! Alcohol is cheap and affordable!!!I am DEFINITELY COMING BACK HERE!!! Thank you Japas!???

The service is awful. I have been there a few times. Specifically the female servers are very unfriendly towards people of colour. There is distinct difference between how they treat white people and non whites people.
Super friendly and polite servers, can get pretty packed on weekends but they do a good job of taking care of tables with the small team they have. Drinks and food are unbelievably good, always!!! A really great vibe for a lively evening, it’s never really gets too loud and they have decent music and lots of tvs. Nice spot to hang out with friends, have a casual date, or even enjoy dinner. A great, clean bar, somewhere between a high-brow and dive bar vibe. My favourite spot for a drink and a bite :))
This place is my favourite place to go to gyoza ? is a must try the food quality and the beer as well as service me and my friends love to come here.Staffs are wonderful kitchen is open till late serving amazing food.Thank you Japan’s.

Wonderful evening here. Great food, reasonably priced with excellent service and a very generous portion of bonito flakes on the okonomiyaki. My wife said it was the most authentic taste outside of Japan. 10/10.

Japas is essentially a great Japanese dive bar - good food, cheap drinks, and lots of rowdy visa students and locals partying all night. No better place to hammer down gyoza and giant cold beers. What's not to love?
