Loved this place! Reasonable pricing, lovely server, and everything was very good. They had my hard-to-find favorite dish, Hwe Dup Bap, which was excellent, and so was the sushi roll, raman, and banchan. Can't wait to go back!
The food here is amazing, everything was fresh, full of flavor and came pretty quick after ordering. They have a large variety of menu items and the prices are very fair for your portions.
Delicious as always, my favorite rolls: red dragon, black dragon and las vegas roll. I recommend the miso soup aa entry (light entry). (In the picture red dragon and laa vegaa roll).
This is by far the best sushi place I’ve ever had. My husband and I travel long way to get food from here. Their sushi is absolutely delicious and fresh. I have gone to other closer sushi places but nothing compares to Japan sushi. They even draw cute pics on the take out container sometimes. You guys are great!
A great spot with good food and fair prices. I really enjoyed my experience; the ambiance is very nice and the staff are friendly and professional. I would recommend it to a friend and I plan to go back to try more dishes.

I ordered the salmon skin roll and spicy tuna roll and was not impressed by the quality. Rice texture and taste was a bit off, but it was the texture of the salmon skin roll that ruined the overall experience.Finishing the last salmon skin sushi roll almost made me gag because the texture was this odd mixture of grainy but mushy.Service was not bad, but there are better sushi places in TO.
This is an excellent sushi restaurant among a sea of wannabes.I am never disappointed here, the fish is fresh and plentiful. Most people come for the sushi boat but the general a la carte and the bento boxes are too notch. Great salad and miso soup too.
Loved the decor and ambiance of this Sushi place on 482 Bloor street west.The vibes are relaxing and service is great.Lots of Vegan/ Vegetarian Sushi options.Plus lots of vegan dishes.Loved the fact that they make Miso soup Vegan.We ordered pink love rolls, which was superb.The Vegan Ramen was okay in flavour and taste and it seemed like a packet of Ramen noodles was opened and served with some tofu. The Ramen had no depth of flavour nor was it interesting. Lots of over cooked noodles.I was surprised to find Korean food in a Japanese restaurant.The Tofu veg Bibimbap was served well, but didn’t come up to its competitors in Korea town. Still enjoyed it as I love the crisping of rice and vegetables in the hot stone pot.They also don’t serve all the condiments which normally comes with a Bibimbap.The ramen was served with a salad and some side of glass noodles.The sushi was served with a side of glass noodles and the Bibimbap had a side of salad, noodles and miso soup.Overall I would say that Japan Sushi is a great place for Sushi and next time I shall only go for Sushi.Sushi was so good that after 3 dishes we still ordered a Asparagus Avocado Yam sushi roll.Amazing service and fantastic Sushi.
