Wait time is usually longer, but after we were seated the service was very slow and the waitress didn’t bother to check on us. Well, she served the drinks and food, but no plates n cutlery given. We were a group of 10, so the 18% service tax was automatically added to bill, that could be the reason for negligence. Will definitely do not recommend this place.
Food was alright. Lots of fries with our burgers and I enjoyed the lobster and crab dip. The waiters were all really nice. It would have been 5 stars for me but it took forever to get our food order in. Nobody came to greet the table. I had to flag someone down. Overall, food was good and it's a fun place to watch sports with friends.

Great atmosphere and friendly staff. My salad was supposed to have kale and mixed greens but had neither. Just romaine lettuce. Not much quiona either. The shrimp was delicious though. ?
If you are at Yonge-Dundas Square and want to have nice bar food with good drinks then it should be your go-to place.Try their fishbowl FUZZY MANGO BREEZE ? with BUFFALO CHICKEN sandwich ? for a wholesome experience.Also, enjoy great view of YDS from their well-heated balcony patio.
It was first all about our awesome server Tamara(Tamar?). She was so nice, helpful and just made us feel happy to order in peace. She answered all questions to get us to order exactly what would be perfect for us and she was so on point!!! When our food arrived we didn't talk for the first 5 minutes, we were all humming after each bite. All 4 of us got something different and we were all happy it hit the spot.This was my second time at Jack Astor's and it was worth it once again. The food is consistently delicious, portions on point and the price seems fair for the vibe and meal. I had a great night celebrating my lil bros bday and glad we made Jack Astor's a part of it, definitely worth it.
I absolutely love jack Astor’s and the service was great as always however the reason I’m putting a one star review is because we were sitting outside since indoor dining is closed and despite the fact that it was snowing; the staff were in tshirts! When I asked them why they weren’t wearing jackets they said that management had told them that they had to purchase a particular jacket that cost $100+ and they didn’t have the funds for it. For a restaurant chain that is so well known; it’s really unfortunate that management wouldn’t provide them with the appropriate winter attire for outside dining service.
I had a great time last night. Good food, clean restaurant and an the staff is super professional. Thanks to the lovely Jordan that took care of us. See you next time.
I went there during the holiday season, they told us we have to add our name on the waiting list and we have to wait for 1-1.5 hour, but after 15 mins they called our names.We had a pretty good experience.One of my friends ordered Mushroom truffle cheeseburger and I tasted it, it was so good and the sauce was really tasty and good. The meal is good too and worth the priceI ordered crispy chicken from the chicken sandwich section, and it was really crispy and big enough.The service was nice too, they keep checking on you if you need anything, and the vibes were nice.We sat inside since it was winter, and as I said the vibes were niceI recommend you check them out!
The food is good but the service is not… it took so long time to have the bill after ask for more than 30min … the staff is not friendly and if you are chatting? They will interrupt you no matter what, but you must order something.
