This is by far the best sushi I have found in Toronto. The fish and ingredients are very fresh. The rice is slightly warm and seasoned correctly, giving it a very nice texture. The presentation is amazing and you are always given ample wasabi and ginger. The staff are always very nice and their pricing is very reasonable.I understand they opened during the pandemic and have yet to open for dine in.

Amazing sushi that I will visit often!!Every sushi were delicious. We got Party Tray D.It was fresh, had generous cuts, and the price was generous.I would recommend everyone to try this place out!

Picked up a torched sushi and roll combo for lunch which came with 5 different pieces of sushi and 8 pieces of a roll. The food was fresh, smokey from the torching and the rice was cooked well and seasoned properly. 13 pieces doesn't sound like a lot but it was quite filling since the roll was packed with ingredients. I'd say it was priced very reasonably for this quality of food. It was also packaged in a pretty wooden square box.

So good!! Ordered the deluxe chirashi don and torched sushi & roll combo. Loved the torched sushi and rolls, and the sashimi was super fresh - melt in your mouth tuna, hamachi, and I’m usually not a fan of salmon but the fatty cut was good. Honestly reasonable price for this high quality and portion. The chirashi rice was a bit hard but everything else was great. Would just get the sashimi next time!Sketchy area but great taste and presentation .

I ordered so many times at J San and almost tried all of their rolls. Always satisfied and never got disappointed. They do not have dine in for now but their take out and delivery are super good. Price is very nice and even nicer if you order on their website. The food is always fresh, tasty, and nice packed. It has became my favorite place for lunch box. All my friends fall in love with this place after one try!

Always the freshest and thickest cuts of sashimi and beautifully packaged. Every time we get J San it's always a treat! The deluxe sashimi comes with very fresh uni and ebi, and their rice is on the sweeter side but is just the right texture. The small wooden boxes really make the at-home takeout experience perfect for special events.

I’ve been traveling to Toronto often lately and I always like to try a new sushi place.I ordered the 141, I switched out the crispy salmon for more California rolls, I was charged an extra 0.60 cents for the switch..apparently cucumbers are more expensive than Salmon, who would have guessed. ??‍♀️But everything was hands down amazing, the presentation was on point and everything was delicious. Before you ask yes I myself ate almost all of it, unfortunately my fridge in my hotel room wasn’t big enough for the box so only 3 or 4 rolls went to waste ?This place is a must and I will be ordering again!

Very fresh and delicious sushi! The pieces are fairly large, so you don't need to eat too many to get satisfied. I know how hard it is to find a decent sushi place, among so many mediocre restaurants and without breaking the bank. J San sushi bar makes quality and affordable sushi.

Part of me wants to keep this place a hidden gem - however it's too good to hide from the people!JSan provided a consistently good and well priced menu. The sushi and sashimi are better than most other Japanese restaurant locations.Due to the pandemic, we have not yet had a chance to sit down inside the restaurant to enjoy. It's only been take-out for us so far.I look forward to when we will be able to sit in the restaurant and enjoy the food, especially the items that are not easily transportable (like tempura).

We took out our sushi and it still tasted great!! I really like the crispy part of sushi. It’s amazing
