Beautiful for authentic Turkish tea on sunny weekend day. I love the tea here. They have Turkish breakfast also, gonna try that in ease once Covid restrictions are lifted. Wide variety of Turkish food. We need more places like this.
Ordered chicken plate it was nice the white rice was really good and everything good. They’re very generous with the portions. Just be careful not to put too many sauces on the plate it can be too much.
I've eaten at many Turkish restaurants, but this one is by far THE BEST! Portions are absolutely wonderful & feed an entire family. The pomegranate dressing on the salad is like nothing I've ever had, but I really enjoyed it with the mixture of vegetables I chose for my salad. I will definitely be ordering from them again!
Ordered two chicken shawarma plates through UberEats and was very very disappointed by what I received. The portion size was very small for the price paid (compared to every other shawarma places I've been to across the GTA)There was barely ANY garlic or hot sauce. Very dryNo flavour whatsoeverWill be the first and last time.
The chicken shawarma plate was ok but the portion was so small compared to other shawarma places, though I ordered the medium one. I liked the chicken overall but the rice was kinda weird. I ordered brown rice but instead I got cinnamon added to white rice! It didn’t taste bad but I had never seen that kinda rice before anywhere even in Istanbul! One thing I really didn’t like about this place was that they seemed pretty ignorant of the hygiene. When I got there no one had mask or gloves on and the chef was putting tomatoes in my plate with his bare hands and once he saw me he started using the salad tongs (I threw the salad away). TBH I would never go back to this place.
Literally the worst poutine I have had in Canada to date. Frozen cheese. Not melted at all because the gravy was lukewarm. Paired with chicken that was not flavourful, and seemed to be shaved off the spit hours ago. (It was hard and dry)All in all inedible. Even through all the alcohol we drank. The entire group was dissatisfied with their purchases. Also, we didn’t notice anyone wiping down tables or encouraging COVID bylaws. They are NOT checking vaccine certificates and are allowing large groups from next door (in the nighttime) to enter and hang around.
Been coming here for about 2 years at first food was good. But the owner was around more making sure the workers did there job properly. Today I got two meals and both were disappointingly horrible. The guy working seemed to be rushing my order and the shawarma tasted really funny. Very bland none of the usual seasonings. I’m not sure if they changed owners but regardless I won’t be wasting my money here. Recipe has been tainted no attention to detail and my girls food had a horrible amount of hot sauce. They really need to tend to there food properly. It’s a hazard. Never ate burnt and mushy shawarma before in a plate now I have. Gross no consistency.
This was not the place. The hummus was Okay at best. The shawerma pide… it is not good. It was dry , not fresh, definitely more than a day old. The chicken was Dry and oily (that’s a really bad combo) and it was sour. It had such a bad sour taste. The restaurant can still improve :/
I went to this restaurant with some friends the other day. I was surprised at how big my Shawarma poutine was, the staff were friendly, The service was fast and I felt right at home! Special job well done to the owner, Seyda, for making us feel so special. Job well done??????
