Very comfortable, instagrammable and a great place to work. Owner is absolutely lovely and makes you feel welcome. Espressos are delicious -- they make them decaf as well.
1000th review!I recommend Istanbul Cafe to others.The staffs here are friendly and kind, and the cafe itself is spacious and quiet. It is a nice place to chill or study.The Turkish coffee was unique and delicious. I would love to try their baklava next time!
An absolute favourite spot for coffee!! A must try place…. Great decor especially the lamps, wall frames, cozy seating! Tried their rose latte and regular latte! Both were amazing.. the staff is very friendly and quick service for dine in as well as take outs! This place is always busy, a local favourite!! The owner was very welcoming and love this place as a go to spot for coffee!!
Decent drink, not particularly good, but quite decent.the pastry section does have a few Turkish options, but not a lot of options, and they’re not usually as fresh.I don’t find the environment as cozy as others commented, I find it somewhat the opposite, the decor is interesting, however, there’s no air ventilation, the air feels very dead inside, which resulted a very uncomfortable warm feeling, and because this place is located in a high traffic area, so all the customers are making the dead air even worse, and customers will have to make it a point to breathe, and pray that no one will fart in there.
I am a CrossingGuard for the City of Toronto. On Cold days like today, we need places to stay warm when we cannot travel home in between shifts.Istanbul Cafe has lovely customer service and a generous owner, where they kindly accepted me to stay in the warmth and gave me a free muffin because I forgot my wallet. They want me to stay warm and fuel up before my next CrossingGuard shift. This is customer service. Bravo!
So in love with this Cafe's coffee bar and presented arts! I wish they have a Turkish song playback to suit the atmosphere. Will deserve a full 5 star with playing authentic Turkish songs

Had the Turkish coffee and biscotti to go! Enjoyed the unique flavor of the coffee. I wish dine in was open, as it had a very cozy and inviting ambiance.
Definitely coming back here. A cozy vibe and definitely a great place to kick back and relax, get work done or play a board game or two in this chill lowkey-feeling coffee shop.The Turkish coffee lives up to the hype, and the barista was super friendly! Love this spot.
It is beautiful and clean. Customer service is amazing. Kids library section is a great idea to engage kids.Food is awesome.
