Love Isabella’s! I loved coming here for breakfast or lunch previously too, but their donuts and coffees are wonderful. The owner and staff have been nothing short of amazing whenever I’ve gone to Isabella’s. Everyone is super kind and loves to talk about Japan! Be understanding that this is a small business and if they run out of product before closing time, it is because they make everything fresh.
Words can't describe what a treat this place is!\\n\\nThese donuts have such a satisfying bounce to them! Timmies donuts be damned! After trying Isabella's, Mochi is the only way to go!\\n\\nAnd they have such unique and innovative Flavours every week! Always makes it fun to visit and see what's on the menu week by week!\\n\\nDon't forget to sign up for their loyalty program!
Cute little donut store for a nice treat. They’re heavy and chewy, but I like that they aren’t too sweet.\\nGot donuts with the following flavours:\\nStrawberry Pocky - has an artificial flavour just like pocky\\nLondon Fog - tastes exactly like London fog\\nVietnamese coffee - tastes exactly like it should!\\nPassion fruit - light subtle flavour\\nPowdered sugar\\nBanana split - not my favourite; it is too heavy.
Love the texture and taste of the week's special. The outside layer is crispy and soft and slightly chewy inside. Enjoy eating it piece by piece. Coffee and Earl Grey are my favs?. Recommend!
This place combines two of my favorite desserts...donut + mochi \\u003d euphoria.\\n\\nStop reading reviews already and try this place.
Smaller location than the downtown, but closer to home. Donuts are delicious as always. Don't mind the half missing donut, it never made it to the car ?
These are a favourite of my partner and I, there’s interesting flavours each week and they are without fail delicious every time. The service is also super friendly and it’s easy to tell they put a lot of care into what they do. Highly recommend you try out a mochi donut from here.
Just happened to be walking by this donut boutique and a friend of mine wanted to grab a box. I had the ‘Ultimate Ube’ mochi donut for the first time ever and it was DELICIOUS. The icing was so smooth and creamy - definitely better than any donut you’d find at Tim’s or Starbs. Definitely going back to get my own personal box LOL.
The menu is short, but we had three different mains and two appetizers. They ranged between excellent and amazing. The service was great. The prices are mid-to-high-end but the food is definitely worth the expense. The ambience was very good, though the room is not especially well designed. The views of the lake and even the courtyard at night are lovely, but the room wasn't designed to maximize them, and many of the tables close to the windows are small and square with hard seating. One major issue (for me) is easily fixed. They have no expresso machine, and their fall back drip coffee is acidic and thin. Quite horrible. Also, they nickle-and-dime you on their (incredible!) smoked eggplant dip. It comes with (incredible!) fresh pita dusted with zatar. But it only comes with one and they firstly recommend you get more and then charge $2 per pita for them. Jeez! Adjust your business model: provide two as a default (sure, add your extra $2 to the price) and provide additional ones as a courtesy if more people want to share it.
I really enjoyed my Vietnamese coffee and cinnamon donut. Will definitely go back :)
