I took my mom here for dinner because she tried some of the takeout my brother brought for her and loved it. She ordered the deep fried basa filet with the mango salad and a side of coconut rice. The fish is so so so tender and the panko breading is crispy and light. My go to at Isaan Der is their Massaman curry with beef and coconut rice, it is delicious! I’ve tried Massaman at different Thai restaurants and I’d have to say my favourite one is here. Can’t forget the service! Everyone is so wonderful and attentive. I highly recommend this location! This one is the closest to me and I haven’t been to the other locations, but I’m sure they are great!

Love their food, it’s great to my liking. The portions are substantial. Their mango sticky rice is made to perfection. The staffs are nice, and I definitely recommend this place to anyone who want to taste Thai cuisine.
Lovely Thai restaurant. The decors are on point. It may take a while for the orders to come in but overall the food was good. Wait times might be longer during peak hours.
They were great when they opened but now they are no better than a Thai Express. No chicken in my chicken pad Thai. Two giant chunks of tofu uncooked. No peanuts and overly saucy. Shame
Had very high hopes based on the previous reviews. Overall our main dishes were okay but we did find them quite oily.We ordered to go, I understand it’s a busy night, but it took almost 2hrs to prepare our order. I’m not upset about the time just the gross underestimate of the prep time and the failure to give us an update when we asked on the status.I would recommend you avoid anything deep fried. There was more oil than food in our containers. Actually our containers are almost translucent due to the oil.Speaking of containers please stop using staples to secure them. The bag I understand but the containers don’t need to be stapled. That’s just an accident waiting to happen.Lastly because of the over commitment to take out orders service was quite disorganized and very slow.
tried this place for the first time today. Absolutely delicious. Wanted to get noodles (Pad Si Ew) and something else as well. The owner recommended Panang curry with fish, and it was fabulous. Noodles were very flavorful and not too greasy. Definitely recommend!
Isaan Der is a gem of a place. The food is delish! We had a little hiccup with a take out order with uber eats - and the owners went above and beyond to accommodate us. Totally sweet (even thought it wasn't even their fault). Also, they are very veg friendly. Last time I was there, the person in charge even created a special vegetarian dish just for me (and it was great), and most things can be made with a veg fish sauce. Service is incredible. Easily the best Thai restaurant we tried so far in Toronto. Authentic tasting dishes with the right amount of spice!STARTERSThe Papaya Salad was so so good. Savory and delicious. We ordered it at the 3 chillis Spicy level. It definitely had a kick! Love it. I don't think we would have enjoyed this at 4 chillis.Chicken Satay was tasty too. A little different from what we would have expected but nonetheless yummy. With 4 generously sized chicken breast skewers, it was quite good value too.MAINSWe ordered the GuayTiaw Gaeng (rice noodles in red curry) and Pad Grapow with Fried Egg (Thai basil chicken). We got both at 4 chillis level (Thai Spicy) and they were good too, with the Pad Grapow being more spicy.With all that, 2 hot green teas and 1 soft drink, the bill plus taxes and tips came up to $70+. Pretty good value for money.Will be back!
The best restaurant in Toronto. It has been my go-to for quite a while now, and they never disappoint. The staff is well trained and professional, and the food is SPECTACULAR. The noodles there are the best I’ve ever had. I especially love Pad Si Ew and would also recommend trying their Pineapple Fried Rice. Overall, the atmosphere is excellent, the food is delicious, and the staff and the owner are very friendly.10/10
