This place was such a spontaneous discovery! I’ve been craving cheese steaks for a while but Toronto honestly doesn’t have any spots that’s flavourful, juicy and has the right bun until I found this spot!Hands down, the best cheese steak in Toronto! The size of Sammie was literally as long as my forearm!Definitely going back and recommending everyone I know!

Ate here on our 1st night in Toronto. The Philly cheesesteak was so good (add mayo if you like it more saucy) and the fries were the best fries we had the whole trip. Highly recommend this place for the fries alone (crispy with good seasoning). The man that was cooking, I think he was the owner, was super friendly. We were sitting at the table outside and he came out for a break and chatted with us for a bit.We had a great overall experience here and would be a place I'd go back to.

Used to work across the street and would get from here whenever I could. The sandwiches are amazing and made to order so you always get them fresh and you just get hit with that amazing smell of him cooking. The owner/chef is also a really dope guy and would always provide a great experience. I wish I still worked in the area because it’s an hour and a half commute for me to get to here now but I would truthfully say it’s worth it for me.

I can’t say I’ve been to Philadelphia but I don’t even care. This sandwich is absolutely fantastic. Bread is tasty and despite all the meat, cheese, and sauces doesn’t turn all soggy. It’s well stuffed and huge, the homemade hot sauce is incredible, and the menu options for a sandwich place is quite big. The owner is personable and funny which also never hurts. Pay the extra couple bucks, skip the million garbage Subways in Toronto and come here instead. The Anthony Bourdain quote & copy of kitchen confidential are a nice touch too.

Picked up the classic cheese steak with mushrooms on my way back from work last Friday and it was the best takeout I have had in a long long time! The gentleman behind the counter was super helpful with recommendations and the stand which was not only huge but yummy too! I had leftovers the next day, and it tasted just as good(if not better)! If you’re in the neighbourhood I would recommend this place any day of the week!

Went in with my friend and my fiance for some beefsteaks and were not disappointed! The sandwich was so good! Well seasoned, gooey cheese and juicy beef!! Delicious food and generous portion sizes! The owner is a fun guy who clearly cares about his craft and makes really great food! 10/10 will go again.

Unfortunately this picture doesn't do any justice.. The sandwich was out of this world. I ended up getting the cheese steak with all the sauces minus ketchup.the house made hot sauce is really good. The owner can be sarcastic or might even laugh at you if you ask for a daily special (do it, I dare you), but all around hes a really cool guy.

Terrible service from the owner, had to walk out. Ordered a simple Turkey sandwich and owner responded with “it took you 15 minutes to pick that?”. Also as others have mentioned not wearing a mask when preparing food for people in a pandemic is just selfish behaviour. Avoid this place, so many other great local restaurants in the area worth supporting.

Can we talk about their portion size? The comments aren’t lying! So generous and worth the price. I ordered the Philly steak cheese combo and hands down got blown away by the tenderness of the meat. Ohhhh and the fries….. you don’t want to miss out on. Have to say, best sandwich shop I’ve ever tried in Toronto! Will visit again very soon.

This place is undeserving of its high rating. The service is, quite literally, the worst I've ever experienced in Toronto. The cheesesteaks themselves are mediocre and overpriced too. It's pretty well documented from the other reviews, but the owner unfortunately seems to have social issues - just look at his responses to others. He also seems to get high in the restaurant (it reeked of weed when I was there) and doesn't wear a mask. And don't even bother trying to ask him a question - you'll either get ignored or a sarcastic non-answer in response. My cheesesteak consisted of a tiny portion of beef sandwiched in between stale bread. It also took forever to make, mostly because the owner takes his time, seemingly on purpose.
