Great Wagu burger and an excellent old fashioned
My server was amazing and the food was fantastic as always. It’s about a 35 minute drive for us and we will continue to make it!
Now that restaurants are open to full capacity they were busy. We chose the right night to go as our favourites were their features. Smoked salmon to start comes with toasties, herbed cream cheese, capers, red onion jelly (fabulous), greens and lemon. The baseball cut steak was cooked perfectly and served on top of a crispy potatoes croquette. Bright spears of asparagus and other veg were in a bed of a tasty mushroom gravy under this tower of food. Herb butter melted on top of the steak. Lamb shank dinner was also delicious. Very generous portions and all arrived piping hot. Service is always great. The place has a very fun vibe and for us always worth the trip into this neighbourhood.
Absolutely delicious food and cocktails and wonderful service. We had dinner and enjoyed it so much we returned for brunch the next day! They don’t take reservations, but we were seated immediately in both cases. Will definitely go back.
We came here before a concert at the Phoenix and were surprised how busy it was for a Monday! Good beer and cocktail selection and a menu that had me stuck between 3 options. I ended up with the steak and wild mushroom pie which did not disappoint!!
Came to Toronto for the day and found this place! Staff very courteous and did not make you wait long. I felt seen. The atmosphere was very happy with good food and service. This white onion and cider soup is the best onion soup I’ve ever had…EVER!!!!!! Everything was delicious! I will be back.
I had the scotch egg, baseball cut sirloin, sweet potato fries and the baneoff pie. Everything came out hot and was great, my scotch egg was cooked a little harder than I like however the flavor was on point. The sirloin with the potato croquett was great.
Delicious and upscale pub food. Great portions and lots of beverage options. We ordered the Smoked Duck Breast Salad, the Club Sandwich, the Grilled Snake River Farms Wagyu Beef Burger (special), Corned Beef and Cabbage (special), and the Guinness Braised Lamb Shank (special). We also had calamari as an appetizer, the cheesecake and toffee pudding for dessert. Will definitely be returning. Service was generally ok. They were attentive but it felt like we were an inconvenience sometimes. But worth it for the food and atmosphere for sure!
Very good food. I had the banger and mash and my wife had the liver. So very yummy. Our server was fantastic. This place was very lively. We love it!
They never disappoint every time we visit!!Food is amazing, every item from their menu.Environment is so homely and cozy the staffs are amazing!! We requested for non-alcoholic cocktails on time and the bartender made us some amazing drinks.The duck salad is my favourite!!
