I encountered this place by fluke. First impression: it looks like a questionable food joint (from the outside) BUT as we know - don't judge a book by its comver because it's the complete opposite for this steakhouseThey really know their steaks!!! The food is so delicious. The steaks are tender and cooked just perfectly. The ambiance in the dining area is really nice as well. It doesn't look like a big place but actually is decent in sizeOrdering is done through a website, not very difficult to navigate either. The servers are very friendly and attentive - always happy and smiling!Definitely one of my best finds yet!

Amazing halal Wagyu steak in Toronto! Had lunch here with a group of friends on the Canada Day long weekend and the experience was wonderful. The staff is friendly and service is good. We appreciated how they specified clearly which items on the menu were NOT halal so we could avoid them. They have an online ordering system, even for dine-in. You can select the size of steak and done-ness you want. It was my first time trying Wagyu beef and the steak was juicy and tender. Definitely on the pricier end but you get your money's worth in terms of flavour. We also tried the Rib Eye steak which was fantastic as well. Love that all the steaks are served on sizzlers with the sides. Will be back again when we're in the area!

Had a great dinner here with my son. He treated me ahead of the Father’s Day celebration. The servers provided an exceptional customer service. The service was quick. Highly recommended.

A great place to go with friends to try a large variety of dishes. We got the omurice, Aussie wagyu, Japanese poutine, and creamy shrimp udon. The restaurant is very spacious with outdoor and indoor seating, very clean.Portions are decent with reasonable prices. Each dish was great, except for the underwhelming Wagyu. Our piece was pretty lean and didn't have much marbling. The servers were very disorganized and forgot to set our table/give us the bill/give us the side dishes (the restaurant was only half full) but they were very polite and friendly.Wait time for food was pretty fast

The service was super warm and their foods reminded me of my mom's taste! One of the unique points was that we could enjoy Japanese beers and Sake with a steak. Also, the way of ordering is quite easy through our phone. The restaurant is likely to be full at dinner time on weekends. Reservation is recommended.

We order the same thing but got different cut of meat. My steak was chew and thin and full of fat. After we told them they offered us a complimentary dessert which was delicious. I hoped for a discount since it wasn’t what I ordered but the dessert was really good. I ended up eating my steak as we were very hungry and didn’t want to cause any inconvenience. Service was not so great either but we liked the side dishes and the mango pudding which looked like corn!

Service is great but the wait time is quite long if you're looking for a quick bite. Drinks tasted watered down, wouldn't recommend. The apps were great. The wagyu and tenderloin were tender, juicy and flavourful. Holy Cow is worth trying!

My sweetie and I came here on a Friday evening to celebrate an anniversary!Downtown in the 6ix a few days after the Province of Ontario opened up full indoor dining for fully-vaccinated diners made this occasion special too.As widely noted, Holy Cow Steakhouse was inspired by the owner's travels to Japan. They also own a meat factory which helps provide a great value to guests.Patrons can place an order by scanning the QR code on the table placemat and then following the instructions after browsing the menu. Just enter your table number so that staff know where to bring your food to.We began with an appetizer of Spring Rolls (beef) plus a bottle of Cathedral Cellar red wine from South Africa.I got to enjoy the halal-friendly 7oz Sirloin cooked rare over a hot sizzling plate. What a terrific steak experience adored with onion, broccoli, carrot, and butter corns! My sweetie chose a 10oz Sirloin cooked medium rare with onion, butter corns, bean, and potato. She enjoyed the steak, however, it was too rare but didn't bother to ask staff to cook it another minute. (I will happily eat it tomorrow!)Service was great. Choice of wine was good. Ambience was nice. The volume of the Japanese music was too loud for our liking. Hey, we were dining on quality steak & red wine.Street P parking is available if you are commuting by car.

From the minute I walked in to the restaurant I was greeted with a wonderful personality, she was very helpful in assistant me in placing my order. Everyone was kind and warm I was very comfortable. Then the food came and it taste just as good as it looked. I would give them 10 stars but I can only give 5. I recommend Holy Cow to everyone especially steak lovers!
