The service was excellent!
Tuesday afternoon. enough seatings. friendly staffs. nice varieties in high tea selections. too bad one item was still included on the menu even though they don't serve it anymore. i wanted to try it badly.
First timer ... slightly upscale menu. Had the black in spaghetti w/ (super tiny clams). Tangy, tasty, but the breadcrumbs mixed in the fresh pasta made the dish a bit dry. Service was efficient but not super friendly. For a quick casual lunch in a restaurant within a department store, it's fine.
We ordered lunch and 2 afternoon tea set. The food quality is definitely not worth the price. Afternoon tea set is $120 for 2 and we had better. I would not go back again.
Servers were amazing portions of high tea items could have been better and bigger. The Xichi menu was priced more but had fewer items.
We booked for my daughters birthday I made a note that it was for her birthday, her 18th and no reference was made during the meal. The meal - the afternoon tea although was nice, the items , two of each were very higglety pigglty in size instead of being more even. I felt the kitchen did not take a lot of care and the presentation on the website regarding the guerlain honey specialty afternoon tea did not reflect in the dishes that we actually were served. I was a bit disappointed. We have been to various afternoon teas around toronto and honestly this one I would put at the bottom of the list.
Very special afternoon tea set with good environment and services.
Great value. They showed us the utmost courtesy. The experience was well worth it
It's a really great Café to go to in terms of food, service and ambiance. I love their little corners and the comfort level of their chairs. The décor is absolutely beautiful. It was my second time and the food did not disappoint.
Due to excessive noise from in-store overhead music we asked to move table to a slightly quieter corner. Had to wait a little too long for attendant to arrive & take a drinks order. After that service was good & food tasty.
