The most dreadful imitation of Ukrainian food ever!!! To even call this Ukrainian food is a shame and a scandal. Frozen supermarket pierogies - they don't even make them themselves. As if that's not bad enough the pork shnitzel was reheated from frozen ready made! First microwaved and then plunged into cold oil in a deep fryer - served soggy and greasy!!!! An utter culinary nightmare. STAY AWAY!!!!!!

I've ordered from here numerous times, both for delivery via Uber/DoorDash and dine-in. For dining in, you order at the front and pick your own seat at the tables they have out. I've ordered the schnitzel, cabbage rolls and perogies. I'd say I enjoyed the meat cabbage rolls more than the veggies ones but I did grow up eating meat cabbage rolls often. The blueberry perogies were a nice surprise and I greatly enjoyed those.

Amazingly delicious food. Good menu but wish there was more variety. Note that this restaurant is connected to the church via the same side entrance

Came bere expecting an authentic homemade Urkanian experience. Come here if you want a 1 star experience of microwaved perogies, rubber textured sausage and oily schnitzel. Meal shouldve been no more than $10 each for the quality and overall experience. No thanks

Finally got a taste of the fabulous Ukrainian perogies, schnitzel and cabbage rolls @heavenlyperogyto today ?? Heavenly Perogy serves a variety of both hot and frozen food, and is located on 400 Bathurst St, tucked modestly in the St Volodymyr Cathedral Banquent Hall church basement.Ive tasted their vegan cabbage rolls with white/purple coleslaw and sauerkraut, sausage with sauerkraut, mushroom perogies, pork schnitzel, and blueberry perogy dessert....all were superb! Also picked up their frozen Dyruny (potato pancakes), Syrynky (cottage cheese cakes), Butternut squash and coconut milk soup, meatballs, and meat cabbage rolls to try laterWhen checking out their website, you can also donate to the Ukraine Defense Forces Fund, the Ukraine Humanitarian Crisis Appeal, or the BCU Foundation in Canada. Any donation amount makes a difference to the citizens living this heartbreaking, abhorrent reality. #standwithukraine ??

Absolutely delicious with vegan and veggie options. Their vegan cabbages rolls are the best I've had. Everything tastes of home and is incredibly comforting.

Lovely restaurant hidden in the basement of a beautiful church. The staff were extremely humble and kind especially during the hard times right now. I really enjoyed their cheddar and onion perogies and their chicken schnitzel. Definitely worth trying!

This place is a mandatory stop if you are in the area. The best perogies I've had in years! Excellent sausage and slaw as well. Definitely try the blueberry perogies. Note that they do also serve vegetarian and vegan options. As mentioned in other reviews, it's located in the basement of a church, but well-signed and easy to find. Not a ton of indoor seating although it was not very busy around noon on a Monday. Service was quick and friendly, and menu items are reasonably-priced. Sad that I don't live closer, or I would come here weekly.

Great food, very friendly staff! Got the large box hoping dinner with the in-laws would leave me left overs, everyone loved the food and there’s very little left. I will definitely be back for more, 10/10!!

Drove from Kitchener to pick up dinner for our first time having my parents over, and it was amazing!! Didn't get a chance to take pictures because everyone loved it! Will 1000% be getting again!!
