The food is Eastern Europe which I live so much since I am from there. But on top is super yummy. Home made great portions. Dan is fun and attentive Thank you. Everything is so good I strongly recommend. Daniela

It is very challenging to find a good Polish place in Toronto, and after coming to Hastings Snack Bar I think I’ve found my go to. Everything was absolutely delicious here and it was all super authentic.We had meat cabbage rolls, traditional perogies and meat bigos. Highly recommend the bigos, but all of it was so good.The vibe is very chill and down to earth, and it felt very cozy sitting at the bar. If you haven’t tried Polish food, do yourself a favour and come here.
Glad that this small business has survived. Very good food. Unique in the neighborhood. Not many of theses lunch counter diners left either. so worth a visit.Eat lots!
You don’t have any reason for not trying this restaurant. Food is the same quality and tastiness as the one you would have in Poland, in such a familiar environment that makes everything more pleasant. Totally recommended!
Food is delicious, authentic Polish.But it was a non pleasant surprise when we asked 2 slices of bread to be added to the soup and they charged us 2 $.It should be complimentary, nothing special just normal piece of bread.((.
