Good good and portions. I am not happy with customer service though. Wait time is longer even to get seated and to serve after you place an order. They should hire more staff if that is required but waiting for more than 20-25 minutes is longer with kids and seniors. Some other customers were complaining about the same when we were in the restaurant.Nuggets and Crispy noodles were very tasty. Pad Thai and Singapore style fried rice were very very bland
Had a wonderful time at the restaurant - food was very large in portions with affordable pricing, service was friendly and quick. Our favorite was the vegan bean curd platter, which came with a sweet and sour soup, one big spring roll and a small pickle radish mango salad. Deep fried tofu was huge! Would definitely recommend the restaurant for groups to come try out their food! Vibe is quiet and family friendly.
Literally so good. By far one of the cheapest and best vegetarian restaurants in ALL of Toronto. Also, it’s located in a perfect location just outside of Kensington market, meaning it’s very close to many peoples go to areas. The food was extremely cheap, got mock sweat and sour chicken balls(large portion), 8 deep fried wontons and 8 delicious dumplings for only $32. With $40 you could easily feed 2-3 people without an issue. The mock meat was also great and didn’t upset by stomach like fast food mock meats. Staff is extremely polite and the restaurant has a very quite, laid back atmosphere, perfect when trying to get a break from the bustle of Kensington and China town. Anyways, most definitely a go-to for me now, use to be Dim Sum King but this place just can’t be beat price wise and food wise. 10/10, 5 stars, would most definitely recommend to vegetarians and meat eaters alike!!!
How am I just reviewing now? This place is a gem. Food is fresh and so much to choose from. The service is super friendly. I felt so welcome here. The food is just delicious. New go-to.
Some of the best Chinese food I've had recently. The portions are Huge I was walking back with my takeout order and couldn't believe how heavy it was.always a good sign. The flavors are great and the owners are friendly. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for good Chinese food.
This is the best establishment EVER. We've been to restaurants in NYC, Montreal, Philly, Tokyo, DC, and none of them match up to the quality we had today at Greens. To say that Greens impressed us is an understatement. The textures, flavors, atmosphere, and service provided a meal that will ultimately make us move to Canada, just to be close enough to come here every day. The food came out quickly, and we enjoyed some jasmine tea during the short wait.Get #53, the noodles with mock duck & veggies. A wonderful nest of egg noodles will invite you to indulge in a duet of crisps and velvet graced with a flavorful sauce. Colorful and complementary bok choy, carrots, and broccoli add depth and delight to the symphony of gustatory sensations. When your dish is so carefully presented to you by their lovely staff, the most perfect slices greet you atop the aforementioned components. One bite of the mock duck will have you wondering what you were doing all this time bothering with other restaurants. The only word you will be able to utter is "wow". Be wary of a life-changing experience. Why are you still reading this review instead of placing your order???? Pick up the phone right now, walk, bike, scoot, or pony express yourself over to Dundas Street right now. If they're closed, camp outside and wait for them to open. Bring your appetite, bag, or an extra friend because portions are big and prices are very reasonable. Don't make the worst decision of your life by missing out on Greens.
Delightful flavors, wonderful presentation, generous portions. The food was absolutely delicious and the staff was great. Considering extending my stay in Toronto just so I can come here again.
The deep fried Taro fish dish with sweet and sour sauce was the best. Chow mein was also very tasty. The stir-fry rice noodle with black bean sauce was very salty. Service was good. Our whole dinner experience was good.
The crispy tofu with mushroom sauce is a staple lunch! Great friendly spot for veg take out. Stay safe.
Didn't even know what I was eating.. Portions are also big.. I'd say quantity rather than quality
