We had the La Vianda main and the La Reina Pepiada in the Arepas. Both were really well made, tasty, and were very healthy portions. We did take away, however, looking forward to going back to eat at the patio.The staff were very welcoming and extremely nice.
Gordo EX cafe is not a cafe. It's not even a restaurant. It's a portal that transports you to the heart of Latin America. This really is a true Latin place. The food is amazing and the taste is closer to the original than any other restaurant I've been so far. The pabellon is delicious as well as the patacon llanero. Even if you're not latinx you should taste the amazing flavours. We'll come back to taste the desserts.

Buen queso, pero algo desabrido. El patacon solo trae proteina, 0 autentico. Y preparence para gastar 30 luks por persona. La atención sin embargo no es mala. PD. No volveré.Good cheese. The patacon only have proteins and I didn't consider it authentic. It is very expensive for it's presentation and get ready to pay 30 bugs per person. It has a good service tho. PD. I won't come back.Sorry.
Empanadas are crunchy and flavourful and the sauces they come with are perfect pairings. Looking forward to my next visit!
Best Venezuelan food in town. Flavourful and tasty. However the staff is not the friendliest. The attention could be way better.

Would give this place the perfect five stars but unfortunately I haven’t had the opportunity to dine in yet and this experience solely based on takeout but the arepas are the best in the GTA no questions asked. There’s lots of new Venezuelan spots coming up but this place makes the best arepas I have ever tried and I have had a good few places. What stands apart here is the quantity and the freshness of the ingredients. Shoutout to the chef keep up the good work and hopefully everyone decides to try this place. I have only had one arepa here but the LA LLANERA arepa is da bomb!

A neighborhood treasure! Very glad we stumbled randomly upon this place. Homely spot with amazing food. The arepas are what this place is apparently known for and they were delicious and VERY filling. The staff is also very kind and patient in helping us choose what meals to get. Highly recommend.
