The food was so so so good!!!! It exceeded my expectations. I got the Spanish Hash. Potatoes were very crispy and the whole dish was full of flavours and very filling. It also had two poached eggs. Got Mimosas to drink. They were really cute because it came in a small bottle and you poured it yourself. The decor inside is delightful. The service was fast and everyone was very nice. I definitely want to come back and try their lunch menu and other brunch items!
As a person who loves brunch!! If you are looking for a place that offers you a beautiful, healthy and FANTASTIC brunch, GOOD FORK is the BEST place in Toronto! I’ve had brunch in 5-star hotels but this place is really something!! I’m 100% happy with them.I’ve been here twice, or three times if you count a typical Sunday when they had a 1.5 hours waiting list for the brunch! Yes they are pretty busy on weekends and unfortunately you can’t do any reservations. But still!! The best place! The first time we had hummus bowl with chicken, blueberry halva pancakes and Anatolian platter .. . The pancakes?! Wow!! ?I’m a kind of less-suger person?? so the Salep was a bit too sweet for me! So We asked them if it’s possible to order it less-suger next time and they said yes!So next time: we again had the bowl, the, and the appley apple pancakes. We liked the blueberry halva pancake more. The less-suger version of the Salep was absolutely amazing!! We can’t be more happy with a brunch place in Toronto! We are planned to have brunch there on a regular basis ?Hummus bowl with chicken: this plate offers you ALL you expect from a healthy and delicious brunch dish!Anatolian platter: A dish of colors and taste which comes swith fresh turkish bagel Blueberry Halva pancakes: Have you ever had halva on pancakes? Try it!!!!Appley Apple pancakes: caramelized apple cinnamon date which is sweeter than blueberry pancakes. And don’t forget to try their Salep drink !! ??
Came here and had to wait an hour to be seated (Ontario half capacity, so they only had 14 tables, and there was 16 parties ahead of us) but we found a local coffee shop to wait inside. And waiting an hour, partially in the cold was wellll worth it. Cause the food? Bussin. We ordered the menemen ( flavourful and delicious, I wish I had a bowl of it infront of me rn ???), the blueberry halva pancakes ( again, super delicious and amazing, the perfect amount of blueberries and orange blossom ricotta, you won't even need syrup) and the load chickpea taters (the actual star of our meal. You HAVE to order these. Seriously do not go and not have these) and I had a glass of the hibiscus tea (mid, tbh. Wish it had more ginger, but that usually how my family makes it). All together I think we spent about $80, including tip, and I think it was well worth the price! And our server was an actual gem, she was very nice and had a nice conversation about walking ?We also stayed a bit after closing time and no one was rushing us or seemed annoyed that we haven't left, which would've been understandable.
Portions were HUGE, so I would honestly consider sharing a plate. Flavour was Greta all around, definitely recommend
I come here specifically for one dish, and that is, the Çılbır. Just utterly divine - the herbs, the oil, the bread they serve it with. Everything marries so well together. Just soooo good. Their Earl Grey Lavender Fog was also heavenly. Very creamy and smooth. It’s a great place to have an unconventional breakfast or brunch. Great atmosphere. Suggest coming on the weekdays as it can get quite packed on the weekends.
Good Fork needs no introduction. It’s a very popular middle eastern breakfast/brunch/lunch place. There is always a waiting list to get in. I had the amazing opportunity to try their best seller Blueberry Buttermilk Pancake. To go with that we ordered something savoury, the Cilbir. The pancakes were heavenly. SO GOOD.
A cozy middle eastern spot in little Portugal. Nice decorations and friendly staff. The brunch was outstanding. Good bagels, and very tasty pancakes. Not a lot of options, but they have special/weekly options. Worth a visit!
Taste of Anatolia and Turkey ??! Brunch was very delicious! A bit noisy but it was in general fine! I recommend this place to those who are looking to taste modern Middle Eastern and Turkish meals.
The food was great. We really liked the turkish style of drinks and bread but they did tell us that you have to leave after sitting there for 1:30 hour and the forgot to bring the coffee till the middle of our brunch.
My experience at the Good Fork was overall good. Their pancakes are rich, dense and yummy. I totally loved them, however I did find them a bit too much if they’re order as a main dish. I would recommend ordering them to share with somebody as it’s impossible to eat the whole thing alone. Too much sweetness in a dish. Their mimosas are tasty too. Their menu is interesting and the place is decorated in a way that feels harmonious with lots of natural light. Lastly, I’m giving it 4 stars because even though our server was extremely nice and apologetic with us, I had to send back a fork and a glass of water because they were dirty. Apart from that, everything was great and we enjoyed ourselves having brunch here.
