Been here a few times. Last visit I noticed a sign at front cash that reads I'm disturbed by your lack of tipping. You are not serving food to a table why do you expect a tip? What a horrible lack of customer service skills. You don't ask anyone for a tip! Really stupid!Furthermore, the shop looks dirty and disorganized. The mens washroom looks like it hasn't been cleaned in months.Won't be back to this overpriced and clearly overrated place.
Great coffee . Excellent pastries donuts and cookies. See lots of people here enjoying the ice cream.As for me I really enjoyed the playful Star Wars themed decor.Definitely a great addition to the neighborhood hope to get back there again someday would definitely recommend a quick peek in there if you're looking for treats.The staff is very kind helpful and courteous. And they do have washrooms for customers only on site..This place is just a 5-minute walk up from the Jane subway station on the west side of the street
Great little coffee shop with a wonderful atmosphere indoors. Lots of great unique items available including some Australian foods I have not seen around the city before. I purchased some espresso beans for home and have been very happy with them, the reusable container program they offer is also great. I will be coming back for sure.
I've been here twice now (gave it another shot because of the high reviews), but can now confirm the quality of espresso is lacking. Also this time I came earlier, because the other time I came later in the day and the pastry I had was dry. This time, I came around opening, and had the egg muffin. It was heated up, but was still cold inside. If it wasn't for the quality of the food and drink, I would rate it much higher. The staff is friendly, and the place looks cool, with all the Star Wars paraphernalia. Though a lot of the store inside is taken up by boxes, which takes away from seating and the decor. The place does have nice outdoor seating.
Matcha latte is good albeit a tad too sweet for my liking. Cute little shop with lots of character and gecko branded items for sale. Would prefer if more seating was available.
This my go-to coffee spot. More of a neighborhood institution, and a coffee shop. Also a great collection of Star Wars memorabilia, Gecko swag and Australian snacks plus great on-site baked goods, sandwiches etc
I was very excited to try this coffee having lived in Australian and experienced awesome coffee. I was exceptionally disappointed with the flat white, which was not a traditional flat white. The coffee tasted bitter and was too hot. It is a shame, after a lot of disappointing coffee over my trip - this was meant to be different.
Best coffee in the city. We've been getting his coffee for a long time and I truly look forward to my morning brew. Thank you Jake and the team.
Great dark roast coffee! Love this place. I also like that they use the Too Good To Go App to sell their near expiry food for cheap and reduce food waste in our city! I also love all the star wars décor in the store of course :)
Great shop with good coffee and breakfast options. They have a nice seating area to the side of the cafe that always has great local artists playing music.Large selection of Australian merchandise! I got the frank green gravel mug! 13/10 would recommend
