The food is delicious, the staff is super friendly and they have a great selection

I TASTE THE MOST DELICIOUS BREAKFAST.

Great food and great atmosphere, definitely authentic and highly recommended ?

Nice spot for a Turkish breakfast spot.Staff was friendly. We were given a Turkish delight after our meal. We tried the Turkish breakfast ($14), the spinach and cheese gozleme and the katmer. I also had sahlep.Sahlep was overly sweet and I needed extra milk to cut it down. I found the Turkish breakfast to be expensive for what you get. Some cucumbers, tomatoes, cheese, jams and a basket of bread - for $14?Gozleme was good. I liked the spinach they use in it. I really liked the katmer but wouldn't like to have icing sugar sprinkled on it. The kaymak that came with the katmer was also very good.Cute spot, with easy parking (luckily, not street parking) & this place is in the same plaza as Anatolia Turkish Restaurant.I'd come back but I wouldn't get the Turkish breakfast. Also some of the bread in the basket didn't taste too fresh.

Worth more than just 5 stars! I don't know where to start with Galata. It is a very humble and unassuming spot with the most delicious Turkish breakfast I have had in all of GTA.We had gozleme, spinach/feta and sujuk/feta. Both were delicious and very nicey sized for the small version. It comes in 2 sizes for the serving. Small is good for a lighter breakfast with room for baklava! Also tried pistachio baklava. Delicious, lightly sweet and generous portion sizes. The sahlep, if anyone wants to try this orchid based drink, is so warmly delicious! It's creamy and smooth with just a touch of sweetness to make a great accompaniment for savoury breakfast. The drinks were all delicious. Sahlep, Turkish tea and cappuccino!I will be coming back far sooner than I planned as the breakfast is a feel good, light on the stomach delight.Staff are friendly and courteous. Very pleased with my visit and can't wait to bring more people with me!

I had a great brunch here. I’m not an expert in Turkish food but everything was fresh and yummy. I prefer their version of baklava, not as drenched in honey as on the Greek side of town. Quiet place and exceptional service.

Love it! Amazing coffee.. gozleme spinach and cheese is very good! And a nice vibe in here! Wonderful lady who works here she’s so nice

Just had a take out breakfast from Galata Cafe. It was my first time trying out a Turkish breakfast and i am fully satisfied and happy.Ordered Sunnyside eggs with Turkish sausages (not sure why they call it Turkish omelette but does not matter). Eggs were perfectly cooked and sausages were delicious. Also ordered a spinach and feta cheese golzame and it was light , crispy with great filling. To round up everything, had Aryan and Turkish tea.Customer service is awesome too. Very reasonable prices as I got all the above for just $25 including taxes. Ambience looked cozy even though I was inside for takeout only.Thoroughly deserved 5 stars all the way. Will try more menu options with menemen on top of list.

Such a great place for breakfast and brunch! Was very nostalgic…. Made me feel like I was in Turkey. Yummy food and great service! Definitely a repeat visit.

This was a wonderful discovery thanks to our dear Turkish friend. We can certainly recommend this place to anyone looking for new authentic flavours. Start your morning with a wholesome delicious meal.
