Fantastic! One of the newest gelato places on St Clair W, Futura has a smaller number of ever-changing flavours, and boy are they good. I had to ask about the "Bronte" in "Pistachio di Bronte" and it apparently means they were grown at the base of a Sicilian volcano? I was skeptical, but wow, that was the best pistachio gelato I have ever had, and I've had my share of pistachio gelato...
I visited Futura last night with my partner who lives right around the corner. We had always walked by this place and just never felt like having it. Last night we were in the mood for gelato and gave it a try. The woman working behind the counter was super friendly and helpful. The gelato is probably the best gelato I have ever had. We will be going back.
Here’s what we call an absolute, when you have a toe fungus you dont go see a dentist, therefore when you want gelato you don’t go to a hipster spot who said st clair is a great place to sell “gelato”.Spend the time and search a mom on pop shop with some experience and authenticity because this place ain’t it lol it was border line chipped ice

The best ice cream parlor I've found in the city, by far!I've grown up eating delicious homemade ice cream. Till I found Futura, no other ice cream had topped the experience of my mother's freshly made one.You can tell Futura granita and gelato ice creams are made with fresh ingredients above all, never too much sugar and always great creativity.Their inventive and seasonal flavours change from one week to the other, a testimony to how freshly made they are, if ever needed.And they have an abundance of vegan and dairy-free options, a definite plus for people with a milk intolerance like myself. They dairy-free flavours are not afterthoughts but just as good if not better than the dairy-containing ones. From my understanding granita is, anyway, traditionally made without dairy. But their vegan gelato flavours are also to die for.Ever since I've discovered Futura, I've been obsessed with them. I can't imagine spending a summer in Toronto without visiting them at least once a week.
Got to try four different flavour all equally incredible. The quality of the gelato it's self was very high and the taste was off the charts. Favourite gelato spot in Toronto, highly recommend!

It is one of the most popular flavours.The line moves very slow maybe they should hire a little more staffThey said they don't gelato gets made in-house don't get me wrong the gelato is very good just disappointed they didn't have chocolate. The pistachio and the hazelnut gelato is really premium stuff. I’m not the biggest fan of granita, but their’s is nicely flavoured. The wait can get long when they are busy.

So good! It was our first time here, will be coming back for more for sure. Granita is such a treat, so smooth and refreshing. We went back for seconds immediately.
