The restaurant looked lovely and the menu looked great. We were seated at 8.25 and no-one came to see us to offer drinks or anything. We asked for someone to come and take our order. They said theyâd be back in a minute. They never returned. We waited 30 minutes - nothing from any of the 4 serving staff We left
Excellent patio, covered so great even if itâs raining. Iâm not vegetarian but my food was absolutely delicious!

Food arrived cold and after a long time. They comped me the item though. I think this is just the case of too few staff in these hard to hire/staff time.
It was lovely lunch with my cousin, we had not been able to have time together in a long time.

I love this location especially, the patio is roomy and cozy. Itâs private, yet open and quiet for being by queen st west. The food was top tier
Sadly, one of us found a hair in their salad. It was quickly replaced but no offer was made to not charge for that salad. No compensation offered which is the standard procedure for such a thing. Also, our table had bird droppings that had been missed since the table was already set with 4 plates, etc. It was cleaned once we pointed it out.
Canada dinner was lovely here. Some of the dishes are hit or miss. But when they hit, they really hit. Also the milkshakes are amazing.
Normally I rate Fresh 5/5 but on this day there were no steamed greens available because their steaming machine was broken, but personally I would have either steamed them in a pot or pan fried them, or offered salad instead of telling us we couldnât have any of the greens we had specifically come to eat there for our anniversary (which we told them). Nevertheless we enjoyed our meal and the service was excellent as always. Will be back again soonâitâs my favourite restaurant and almost the only one I go to. The covered, well-ventilated terrace is LOVELY.
