perfect place to go for some comfort food. The hot pot was abundant for one person, and can easily be shared. I love Lamb with my hot pot. The noodles were fresh and chewy and broth was flavourful -even my two year old daughter devoured the noodles !What I ate:?Beef Brisket base Noodles Hot Pot with Lamb Slices, beef & Premium AAA beef?Tomato & Braised Brisket Noodles Soup?Popcorn Chicken?Wan Luan Pork Hock? Rabbit Coconut Pudding❄️Snow Cake with Red Bean and Coconut? Soy Milk

The place is clean and lovely. And the service is great. I ordered spicy beef, tender & Tripe noodle soup with less spice and I asked for a small plate of chili sauce on the side. It was delicious! The spice was just right and the broth was so tasty. The chili sauce was perfect for dipping the meat. The price comes with a decent amount of meat. If I come back to visit Toronto, I will definitely go back for another bowl of noodle soup.

I really like this place for their authentic Taiwanese beef noodles (the noodles are super thick and satisfyingly chewy) as well as their mini hot pots! Careful though, their spicy hot pot IS indeed quite spicy! The decor and ambience is also chill and quite nice, and we've never had a staff that isn't polite or nice. It's so nice to see. The only thing that makes it less than perfect is the location makes it extremely hard to park and extremely easy to get ticketed if you don't read the parking instructions carefully.

I ordered both the DIY frozen kits online and a takeout order, but when I go pickup, the frozen kits had missing items and they did not refund us for the missing order. They insisted to give us raw meat in replacement of the missing cooked meat. Why would I want to order raw meat in a restaurant? They just would not refund us back when it is their mistake.Super bad customer experience and bad online ordering platform for the frozen kits as they will miss your order and will not refund you back. They would give you raw meat which you can buy at the grocery for a cheaper price.

I had an amazing experience here with my boyfriend, brother, and sister-in-law! Our server, who I believe was also the manager, was super friendly, funny, and accommodating. For context, I have an anaphylactic peanut allergy. I did not know they used peanut oil here so my party and I ordered as per usual without mentioning it. I felt later on that I should mention it and our server, although shocked and concerned for me, completely understood. She arranged for my meal to be cancelled, and she offered dishes that did not contain any peanuts nor came in contact with peanuts. She even offered me a free, small, peanut-free soup as she noticed everyone else in my party had a soup but me.The atmosphere was nice, clean, and casual. Restaurant fronts on Spadina tend not to be too flashy or interesting. However, the interior of the restaurant and the food served makes this place a pleasant, lowkey gem.I would definitely recommend coming here. For those who can consume peanuts, I recommend the braised beef, tendon, & tripe noodle soup. For those with a peanut allergy, I recommend their popcorn chicken served on rice with fungus and vegetables.(I wish I could add photos, but we ate our dishes right away and forgot to!)I will definitely be coming back here!

this place has such a nice atmosphere and friendly service! the braised beef hot pot and noodles were both great. only complaint is the toppings for the hot pot were a bit frozen.

Impeccable service as I accidentally placed the order at a wrong location but they fixed it for me or I would have nothing to eat for dinner ? Thank you so much! Of course the food was super yummy too! (I had the spicy beef and tendon noodles and crispy chicken)

Dining with friends and fellow foodies is definitely something I've missed during this COVID era. It was nice to be out again, enjoying some good food! I met some friends for dinner at Four Four South Village, downtown on Yonge Street. It was my first time being there but I was looking forward to having some Taiwanese cuisine. We started by ordering several appetizers, including Braised Beef Shank, Braised Rib Finger Meat, Signature Braised Tofu, Braised Meatball with Soy Sauce, and Braised Pork Trotters. It was all good, hard to choose a favourite. Both ladies in our group had the Hot Pot and it looked delicious! It was all presented on a tray, complete with a gas burner, a pot of broth, noodles, meat to be cooked, and condiments. It looked good! Maybe I should have ordered that! I had the Spicy Beef Noodle Soup and it was delicious! The broth had a rich flavour that I enjoyed and the beef was very tender. The other two guys in our party of five had something similar and they also enjoyed it. The decor was nice, with a rustic kinda village vibe. There was exposed concrete and brick walls, very tastefully done though. The food was good, with decent portions, good flavours, and good service. I would come back. One negative, however, was all the chipped dishware, almost every piece. Or was that part of the rustic ambiance? Hmmm...

Omg one of the best Taiwanese noodles I’ve tried in Toronto! Especially the service is really good! I love the girl’s smile and she is really nice~~ telling me lots of places that worths visited nearby! I will come back next time!

Tasty noodles. A bit short staffed when we visited.
