We were visiting from Winnipeg and my cousin insisted on bringing us for lunch. What an amazing little spot. Everything from the fresh breads to the pastries to the sandwiches are all eye-candy. The sandwiches were delicious, served on the most amazing focaccia. When the owner heard we were visiting he graciously snuck a couple of complimentary items in. So sad we don't have this back home. Will try to sneak in another visit before we leave.

The pastries are consistently good, but there is no nice place nearby to enjoy them. I wish they made a summer patio there. On the side note, wanted to say huge thank you for such a caring service to a young lady, Marla (I am afraid I misspelled the name, I meant red haired lady who worked there today). Her kindness and patience made my day!

First of all I love the food and shop, so please don't take this the wrong way, but I was just wondering if/why your prices are not posted anywhere? I feel like every time I go, I am surprised at the check out. I know I can ask how much everything is, but there is always a line when I go and I don't want to be holding anyone up. Is there a price list somewhere in the store I am missing? I understand prices have gone up due to the pandemic, but would appreciate knowing how much everything is when deciding what to buy. Thank you.

Amazing food and customer service!! The bread is so nice. Get the mushroom sandwich if you are into that. I thought the food was a bit over priced by hey, inflation.I only gave 4 stars as all the staff were super kind except 1. I wish I got her name but hoping the rest of the staff rubs off on her, or maybe she was having a bad day.

Forno Cultura probably has some of the best bread in the city. I like this location in particular because there is ample parking in a small lot immediately in front of the store, so I can pop in on a weekend morning to pick up some bread and pastries before heading up to visit family in the suburbs. Lots of unique preserves and canned seafood items, house made pickles, breads (of course) and pastries, and unique beers, wines and ciders, but the absolute star for me, is the totally INSANE Italian sandwiches... The shop is definitely a treat - the prices are on the high end, and I wish they had almond milk for their coffee (they only have oat), but still highly recommend this bakery/shop.

Biscotti and cookies are good, no doubt. But what’s up with the no cash policy? You don’t accept cash as payments but you want cash tips…..hmmmmAlso, as the child of an Italian immigrant I promise you no serious Italian person puts Mayo on a mortadella sandwich…..let along drenching the sandwich in it

Delicious Italian bakery with amazing bread and pastries! Can't wait to go back to try more!

So, long story short. My husband and I got lost on the way to Forno Cultura due to the road construction. But all of the walking and being lost in the new city doesn't stop us enjoying our sandwich and pizza. It was delicious and worth. The pizza dough not too heavy and the sauce, just fabulous. It's just a simple italian pizza. The sandwich (I already forgot what it called) was great. The bread and the fillings was delicious. I ate them all, with a view bites going to husband stomach. Overall, the food and the delicious coffee was worth it.

Doesn’t update Google hours. Walked 30 mins to realize it’s closed :(

Best sandwiches on Queen West. Incredibly friendly service. An eclectic assortment of beverages and sweets. You can't go wrong.
