Loved the almond croissant! Dense with the almond filling, flaky, and not too sweet. The passionfruit chocolate pastry was also quite good. The sourness goes well with the chocolate's sweetness. I'd prefer less chocolate to let the passionfruit shine. The croissants were flaky, light, and buttery. My only concern is the size - the croissants chosen for me seems shorter than some that were on display, and were shorter than the almond croissants - which, correct me if I'm wrong, were made with day-old croissants. For ~$5 each, I just want to make sure I'm getting the standard croissant.Everything I ordered was delicious. Go early since items run out fast! Cash or debit only.

Spent about 150 trying some of everything they had My god I loved the mousse and pastries! Very friendly staff and owner! I will return when I come to Toronto again Parking not easy but its Toronto Its cash and debit only and no customer washroom

Fleur du Jour has the best butter croissants ? in the entire city!!! I love walking there on Friday morning and getting myself a handful to enjoy over the weekend. Forget the fancy-schmancy patisseries, forget the lineups. Come to break bread with this delicious family-owned business that does well on its promise to serve their neighbourhood and community joy in the form of expertly baked bread.

This is probably the only place in Toronto where croissants taste the same as the ones I tasted in Paris. You can feel that people care about their pastry. Highly recommend!! <3

Excellent pastries, but very poor customer experience. First experience they actually sold a croissant they packaged for me to someone else. Second time, called to order a cake, was told I needed to order and pay in person. I drove across the city and was then told that the chef couldn't take more orders. Great pastries with better service elsewhere.

Delicious does not accurately describe the pastries at this local gem. You can smell the butter from the street and each and every morsel tastes better than the next. I was at Dominque Ansel's Workshop this summer and I can honestly say that Fleur du Jour holds its own! Proud to have this Parisian sensation in my hood.

I absolutely love this spot. Their Palais are just phenomenal, I especially like the raspberry. Their croissants are quite literally the best I’ve had, perfect density and not too sweet or buttery. They also do more intricate desserts like such as passionfruit/cheesecake tart(?) that I often get. The owner is lovely , and really cares about his craft. It also doesn’t hurt he doesn’t tease my butchered attempts at speaking French with him haha! Lovely little spot , I highly recommend it to anyone, they’ve got something for everyone, but go early! They are so good they often sell out of items come the afternoon, as they make everything fresh in-house! 5/5 for sure!

Best bakery I ever had in Toronto. Everything is fresh, artisanal and tasty. If you want a good viennese pastries, this is the place to go!

Really great French pastries and the owners are so nice! Plus, the owner and baker is from France so that’s a plus. I’ve tried most things here and they’re all fantastic including the almond croissant (although I’ll note that they’re different from the transitional French almond croissant) and the Pain Suisse (pastry with yummy dark chocolate) is also delicious!

Plain croissant and chicken croissant were soo good, super buttery. Raspberry/white chocolate cake and chocolate cake were both well balanced but the sponge cake was really wet on the inside. Overall delicious and would return for the pastries.
